Well done, Joey, You were superb today, and in recent weeks I have renewed my faith in you. Top guy and one of our ... yeah yeah  I know

Frustrating player for me. Goes from the sublime to the ridiculous about ten times per match!!! But very solid on the whole tonight.

Can be so frustrating, I agree. Because he has so much talent, just sometimes plays what i can only describe as casual. Was really really good today, using his body alot. Like how the ref booked him straight away and let their players off with much more. still , who cares now

Same with Pack yet Skala was given two chances. Didn't realise you had separate rule books for Home and Away teams!!

I didn't see a future for him as a traditional LB before, but it's been shown in recent weeks why LJ persisted in him there for so long. Undoubtedly has the ability to do it and can be a very good Championship LB, if not more. I always feel Joe is very much a confidence player, which is probably why he struggled so much when things were going bad this season. As applies to other situations, hopefully the experience of this season will benefit him. Certainly looks to have done recently. Great today and was up against one of the best players in the division.

Again, similar can be said for all. The most impressive thing about our recent form is that it's been a real collective effort and everyone has played their part and done it well.

Did the same last season, played well in the last few games.  Needs to do it for the whole season. Bobby Reid dearie me, how many chances does this kid need?

We seem to specialise in full backs that look good going forward but can't defend consistently.

No, I don't know what the answer is. JB for left midfield in a 442 with a defensive full back behind him? Not Golbourne though.

JB and O'Dowda is my ideal left side. O'Dowda is very good defensively and will track back. It allows Joe to get forward at times knowing he's got help if they counter. Joe is just fine at LB. He is only 22-23 years old and is still learning the standard needed. It's a position where you can look very foolish with the wingers in the championship nowadays. You have to cut him some slack out there.

Also give credit to Paterson because he's been tracking back and been reliably helping Joe out there. They've been fun to watch this last month or so.
