They will more than likely get what that Leeds idiot got in the dolman. Very difficult to hide there stupid brummie voices.

The Leeds fan was from Plymouth, so no Yorkshire accent. I work with a Birmingham fan, his parents are from Brum but his accent is West Country, plenty like that.

As long as they respect they are in the City end, don't celebrate too loudly shoudl they score or get chopsy should we score all we will be dandy. Might be quite nice to see an up close Brummy's face when the news filters through that Blackburn are coasting 2 nil at Brentford, Forest are 1 nil up against Ipswich and Tammy has just banged in the 3rd of his hatrick to seal their fate

If it gets to around 70 minutes and the situation is looking desperate for them, I think they will be very easy to spot, clearly looking terrified and checking their phones constantly for updates.

I dare any of you in the West Stand upper to randomly shout out "wow, Blackburn have scored!" and see how people around you react:D:robbored:

Brilliant! Please someone do it.

Why will they? If they sit and watch the game quietly who would ever know - and what's the issue?

fair play if they can sit quietly at the most important game they have had in years, there should be NO away supporters in the home ends and if the stewards and police do there jobs properly they will be escorted out.

I've sat in many an home end as an away fan and kept quiet. Under all different circumstances - win, draw, lose etc. Its not tough. if they can do it then there is no issue. If they can't then the stewards will deal with it.

But could you do it if there was 10 minutes to go and City desperately needed to score to avoid dropping into League 1? I'm not sure I could, hence I'd avoid putting myself into such a situation.

So if you can't don't do it. But there are many of us who can and therefore I see no issue (unless you have no self-control).

I always remember a bloke from my old local who had just come out of the army. He went to City then went to watch the gas and he (stupidly) decided to nail his colours to the rovers mast. He went everywhere watching that lot and became a proper diehard.

A Bristol derby was due and he decided to sit in the Williams with a few of us reds but we knew he was diehard blue.

Unfortunatey for him, we were surrounded by proper city nutters (it was a long time ago) and the poor fella had to celebrate like a loony every time City scored (we won 3-1 IIRC) to avoid a slap. It was hilarious and he never came to a City match again for some reason.;)

If you're reading, sorry Ray but it was really funny!

My late grandad nearly always went in the home end. In the 80's it used to be a couple of quid cheaper back then. As a 9 or 10 year old I've nearly had my head kicked in at Plymouth, Swindon, Sheffield Utd, Cardiff and the Gas. All character building and with the money he saved we always had a nice greasy spoon. Happy days lols. It's a shame it can't be more like rugby and you can sit wherever, but unfortunately that's the society of how people have been for 50 years.

It`d be more fun to say `Blimey, Brentford are have scored two in two minutes and Blackburn are down to nine men` and see who jumps up and punches the air.

I wonder if any that did buy tickets won`t bother to come down now as Brum are doing a beamback? Got to be more fun watching it in a bar with your mates than having to sit on your hands for ninety minutes isn`t it?

There is nothing like actually being at a match. If I had a ticket there is no way I would watch it on the box instead. The brummies will believe they will survive (it is more than likely they will) and it will be a big party. They will not be intimidated by a visit to Ashton Gate and they will expect to invade the pitch, sing in the home ends etc and it all to be fine and dandy.

Only 500 tickets, and sold out very quickly.

Well done you. Personally I couldnt imagine anything worse than having to sit on your arse in silence when your team is in a desperate situation and needs vocal support. Hence I would never put myself through it for my own safety and out of respect for the oppositions fans. But each to their own. I am 99% sure that things will kick off tomorrow in the Lansdown upper if things start looking dodgy for Brum because there will be inevitably some with no self control as you put it.

Never sat in a home end at an away game.

My briatolian accent isn't as strong as it used to be (although I can put it on!) thanks to my years in the wilderness living in Exmouth.

If need ever be, I could sit comfortably in the home ends at Exeter City or Plymouth Argyle against Bristol City, call Djuric a 'shit Andy Carroll' and be undetected. We'd only ever get Exeter or Plymouth in a cup match now though I hope!

Sat in many a home end never had any trouble kept my mouth shut and when we scored just held my head in my hands whilst grinning.

Just to point out I don't travel these days and I am going back 30 odd years and probably a few even ones as well. if you don't do Billy you should get away with it.

I think if the authorities turned a blind eye to the reception away fans got when "outed" the practice would all but disappear.

It is deliberately provocative particularly with so many bragging about it on social media.

Here is what I don't get.

People going in home ends... Well is not good and can cause issues but ignore rights and wrongs. It happens. Especially in a game like this!

However the real implausible thing, the imponderable... Why?? Why would you post it on social media, let alone an open forum!

Not only would you put yourself at risk of a hostile reaction from home fans but it would also more importantly alert the club, police and so on and make you much less likely to get in!

Indeed so don't sit there if you can;t handle it. Simple as that.

The best way to get any Sad Brum fans out of our end is to put announcement out five minutes into the game saying WOULD THE OWNER OF A PAIR OF FLARED JEANS WITH  WALLET IN THE POCKET FOUND ON THE BEACH AT WESTON, PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN TO THE NEAREST STEWARD ! Watch them go .
