Where's Phileas Fogg?

Judging by the number of 'children's' programmes mentioned here it would appear that the majority of posters are not exactly yoofs.

No, nor me.

Here are a couple of classics:

Spencer Davies Group in full flow (known as The Murgatroyd Band)

And yes, Norn Iron! All bow down to the legend that is Barry Gray:

Why did I have to grow up...?

Does "working abroad" stop you these days though? Realistically where could anyone go for six weeks without an internet connection, short of the middle of the jungle.

Internet sucks in the Philippines...

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the thread/nice comments!

I set a New Years resolution to have a bit of a 'digital detox' for a month or so - only got around to actually starting in April which coincided with a particularly busy few weeks at work.

Must admit, I have been lurking on Otib now and then having a browse without signing in. Very pleased we were able to survive. Highly important summer of recruitment coming up.

Yes Mr. RedDog, I would have been all over that recent Taylor thread!!

Glad you re-appeared... Someone eventually would have sussed we are both in the same city and thought I might have been up to no good.

Fact is folks Foggers and I are yet to meet.

Come on you two... I sense a few jars and putting the world to rights.

This brings back memories of school holidays....

Sent away for the whole series on DVD a couple of years ago.

Still brilliant, and what an evocative theme tune and music throughout.

I`ve got the single of that by The Dickies on bright yellow vinyl!

Ah, the Dickies! What a great sound. Apparently they (or at least a bunch of guys answering to that name - a lot of the originals are now brown bread) are playing the Fleece on 6th July!
