Clevedon Red
Had 3k fans at Sunderland today all courtesy of the players covering the cost of the tickets. Fair play. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/05/07/swanseas-players-raise-60000-pay-fans-tickets-sunderland/
Bar BS3
Good gesture. Shame championship clubs don't given hundreds of thousands that they have to invest in fan initiatives, like the £30 (soon to be £20..?) away tickets. Well done Swansea players though. Pretty much safe now too.

poland_exile
I'm sure my first trip to the Vetch there was barely four thousand there, and half of them were from bristol. fair play to swansea mind
Garland-sweden
Important win for Swansea today. They found their form. Think Arsenal is winning in Stoke. Still the season can end happy for Arsenal. FA cup and maybe top four as the last twenty seasons. Wenger is Wenger he he. His last season?
Admin phantom Posted May 13, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted May 13, 2017 Just spoke to friends up there, Swansea were given a £5.50 voucher each for a pie and a drink. They have agreed to pay back the voucher and donate to Bradley Lowrey

Point being it doesn't cost the club anything.

Swansea use theirs to subsidise that no away ticket costs more than £22 (or at least was the cost when it started) and Bar BS3 was saying how its a shame how the rest of the football league don't get similar to allow our clubs to do it as well. So its Middlesbrough, Sunderland, and Hull....inspiring.. And Bolton, Sheff Utd & possibly Bradford. Add Leeds, one of Huddersfield or Wednesday, possibly both, Barnsley, PNE, Derby, Burton & Forest and we`ll be spending more time north of Birmingham than we ever have I should think.
