It seems to be happening all to regularly recently, I'd of thought with everything that goes into a players fitness tests & all the general hi-tec gadgets that are used to measure this, that & the other nowadays, that any potential medical issues would be found by clubs medical teams but it sadly doesn't seem to be the case!! Clarky89
Horrendous. Thought after his first season or two that he was destined for the top of the European game, but for some reason he just seemed to tail off. 30 is just shocking. Baldyman
Surely it's time for FIFA to help fund research into this phenomena . It just seems to keep happening to players of African origin time and again and certainly seems to have become more common in recent years .
