Dixies
Hi Folks, I've been hunting around over the years trying to track down John Dix of Dixie's Fine Cider, AKA Cripple Cock Cider! I found an old old thread mentioning him HERE on this site and thought what a brilliant chance to tap into an excellent local knowledge base I own his old Bedford Lorry that he used to use for delivering Cider around the area and for a bit of promotion - it had a thatched canopy at one point! Its made its way to the other end of the country now and I'd really like to make contact with him if possible, swap stories of the Lorry and fill in a couple of blanks. Any help gratefully received, I thought this Forum may be a good start (and easier than a 700 mile drive!). Thanks, Alec.
Nicki's soulmate
I remember he had that place on the cut opposite the Louisiana
Dixies
Ah, whereabouts was this? I have details of when he was down at the "Marchioness Shed" beside the steel bridge at Bathurst Basin. Got a cracking photo of the lorry there as well. Alec.
