looks very red to me, but by all means get angry about something that isn't true as it's never stopped people before

The favourite I've had for yonks took me to the Bristol Sport Beta site. So bit of technical cock up by the new site developers.

Have to admit I don't mind the intentions of SL to support all sports in Bristol but I don't think we need links to them all on the City website.

And the Football link just opens the Bristol Sport page again in a new tab. F'ing basics. Don't mess around with live sites until you are ready to go live FFS!!!!

******* hell, complaining because there's a link to the other sports :clapping:

Also, until your cache fully clears it will potentially send you to the wrong site. It takes some time to fully update.

But by all means, take swipes at BS if it makes you feel better.

And me - it was fine yesterday via the mobley going to the correct site but in work taking me to the Bristol Sport.

Even if I click on "football" at the top it takes me to the same screen so I think there is an issue (obviously)

Mine's fine using Google Chrome but takes me to Bristol Sport if I use IE and click on my original shortcut. I tried Control F5 which does a full clear of the cache with no luck. But when I typed the address in it worked fine and works now I have reestablished the shortcut.

The difference is between the use of 'http' and 'https' (secure version of the site) at the start of the web address. If the web address you type in has the 's' on the end of 'http' the City site works fine, if you use plain old 'http' (without the s) if redirects to the Bristol Sport site.

Site devs have a little bit of configuration to do to ensure http redirects to https by default and show the right site...

Try it:

http://www.bcfc.co.uk

https://www.bcfc.co.uk

You're right, looks like someone copy pasted the IIS config from beta and didn't change the http redirect.

Sadly, this is the way things are going,...

Had not looked on the official site since end of last season until now.... I see it has been consumed into a component part of Bristol Sport. Very unimpressed, for a start the home page is blue and white!

Not the way things are going at all - some people, me included, are getting directed to the Bristol Sport homepage - I'm sure the issue will be fixed soon and we will go to the red new funky website - try reading some threads before posting would be an observation !?!

This fix is being rectified today.

Apologies to those who have been affected by this error.

Fair enough it does seems some are still being diverted to Bristol Sport.

Yeah if you look at the picture of mine - putting bcfc.co.uk seems to divert to the beta.bcfc.co.uk which is now the Bristol Sport homepage but as I said in earlier post if you then click on football it returns to the same screen.

I tried to get around it by clicking on a city related story but then got a fatal error message - as said - just teething problems - I will just count on the forum to tell me when he has signed :P

edit: Adam responded whilst I was typing !!

Any know why the fixtures show with the last first and the first last? Doesn't seem logical that you have to scroll to the bottom to see our first set of fixtures :

That's the Australian version of the site (see main headline).  Wlil be fixed once you clear your cache.

That's so we all realise what a tough last few games we will have on the run in to promotion!

If we are looking over our shoulders at Sheff United though then we are stuffed.
