Gillies Downs Leeds
No not another name to chuck in the managerial hat. He is the current Swindon manager and in a Q&A on points west he was asked "what is your best moment in football so far?". His reply was seeing the Thompson brothers celebrating after the final whistle at the county ground when they beat us last season. Obsessed? Not much!! Pickle Rick
It's more of a measure for the successful career he's had. The guy is a bell end and Power's little golden boy.

They won it all that day, Ballon d'or for Nathan Thompson, World Cup to be hosted on Swindon. All players got a Champions League medal and a Premier League trophy each. The list goes on... There's also that brandished red card that's now framed in their dressing room. It spurs them on big time! Big time?

One BCFC
Yep, watched it. Just goes to show how small time they are, surely beating Sheff Utd in the play off semi would have been more of a highlight?! Surprised to see him on there tbh haven't seen hardly anything from Swindon since we beat them 3-0 and they were embarassed in the play off final. BS13 Robin
Its funny because my favourite moments of Swindon last season was us beating them at Ashton Gate which was probably the win that set us up for winning the league!!!
Loco Rojo
Not being funny but if we had a manager that said that about a moment over our rivals we'd love it and this place woyld going mental so fair play to the bloke. If that was his highlight to his career then so what - it's not like he's doing a bad job for them either.
BS4 on Tour...
If the highlight of anyone's career is beating Bristol City you can safely say their career is/was crap.....unless they are with a non league club a zillion places below us. I still haven't see the pics of Swindon being presented with the League One champions trophy in November 2014....
Swede
No, my favourite swindle moment was not beating them 3:0 in their big day out at Ashton Gate but laughing at all the empty seats in their end at Wembley before laughing even louder as they went back to League 1 with a whimper after just 45 minutes against Preston. Poetic justice.
ZiderEyed
I thought their rivals were Oxford? It's like Chelsea randomly being provocative to other sets of fans to stir up a rivalry.

Selred
Really good appointment in my opinion. Great pedigree as a youth coach, yes didn't do amazing after he got the Swindon job perminantly but the set up and operations at Swindon did him no favours. Exciting times ahead. Carey 6
Those training tops really do look amateur. Maybe we should get a few different ones designed for media pictures.

Ska Junkie
Swindon fans (well the only one who has surfaced since the season ended) on 1FF's reckons we've got a really good youth coach and that the first team role at Swindon was 'forced upon him' yet coaching young players is his strength. Seems a decent appointment to be fair as long as he's fumigated after his time up the M4 and burns his 'Championes, November 2014' T-shirt. Well, there's practically none of it these days (more's the pity), so it wouldn't be hard to up the numbers. In public would be good, too. A slow haul would be ideal, too.
