I've had some young 'un tell me to 'go and support the other mob' on one of our FB groups because I don't particularly like LJ as Manager and it pisses me off something terrible when I read people posting it. Me too, I'd have liked to have put forward a reasoned critique but I thought I'd just condense my feelings down to the two words. @EnclosureSurge got called gas by some foetus a while ago, makes my blood boil. If people can't see that you can support YOUR club whilst still questioning the decisions made by the current encumbents then they either don't understand what supporting your club means or they're knobs. Napoleon always said " I would rather have a lucky General than a good one" Perhaps , in the long run, we are better off with a lucky head coach than a "good" one? After all, most of OTIB's content is blind faith without any actual facts or sense applied, so for most unfortunately any ability to debate is out the window from the get go with that mindset. Any adult advising a poster to 'support the gas' or giving the 'you're not a true fan' bollocks 100% need their hard drive checked by the police, regardless if it affects our average attendances.
