Bringing in the likes of Magnússon and Engvall is no where near playing the reserves. Enjoy your tuesday night I shall be watching the reds progress to the next round of the EFL Cup. It was confirmed yesterday that changes would be made. Personally would actually like to see Hinds and Engvall start, first as it shows that we're giving the young ones a chance, something we were told would happen more this season, and the latter because it is about bloody time! Roe Posted August 8, 2017 Report Share Posted August 8, 2017 Stupid thread is stupid. To be honest though, this is the most excited I've been for a first round league cup game in a long time. We actually had a relatively decent run last season and I'm hoping we can at least equal that this season. As for tonight's game, it's a really good opportunity to carry on the great form and positivity from Saturday as well as giving a handful of other players an opportunity to impress and prove that they're as equal a part of this season's squad as those that started on Saturday. Obviously I want us to beat Plymouth and expect us to be able to; but I don't expect us to win the tournament. I love watching players like Engvall, O'Dowda, Moore etc get a game.
