So this is what it's come to... 45 minutes of good football every 3 games.

Well, that is worrying. Against a team expected to be much closer to the bottom than the top, at home, and we have been...awful. Midfield almost non existent, no real idea what we are trying to do here. Only good news is that we are level.

One of the defenders did the 'friendly' grab around the head thing hat footballers do. It was designed to wind him up and Fammy pushed him away. It was something and nothing. Red card would have been scandalous.

We perhaps are missing Hegeler's composure bringing it out from the back. Whilst Wright & Baker are sold CBs neither can offer any positive distribution.

We had better possession. They were chasing and pressing all over the pitch for 40 mins. In the last five of the half, they started to drop off more and we had a bit more space. We definitely played at a slower tempo than normal - we're passing backwards and sideways more and definitely not high pressing. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that is the plan today, let them tire themselves out chasing the ball and the up the tempo 2nd half when their legs are tired.

If that's the plan and it works, then great. But giving away 10 corners probably suggests it isn't going so well.

I think we need an outlet.

Funny you should say that; i heard his name more than any other City player in that first half. I should add that I am no fan of the bloke commentating.
