The Official Match Day Thread - 4 - Bristol City v Millwall

Recommended Posts

Utterly inexplicable tactics and performance. At half time at Brum we were sitting pretty then LJ seems to have decided to drop the energetic style and since then has apparently deliberately surrendered the initiative to the opposition.

Baffling and I hope we get an explanation as to why this is thought to be a good idea.

Diedhiou doesn't seem to offer anything. No running the channels, no hold up play, no running with the ball and no strength.

Thats another 90 minutes of my life I won't get back.

Still, at least there'll be the LJ snippets to follow shortly. £200 says he mentions Joe hitting the bar and how we were unlucky not to get 3 points.

I'll  await your update @petehinton

Poor result, you'd think we should be winning these games.

But a clean sheet and a point, onto the next one.

No no no. If we could win these game some then it would allow us to expect less against the Villas and Boros. Millwall just promoted with players like Steve Morrison leading the line. These are must win games!

Pretty poor really, bad in possession, midfield was bypassed by hoofing it, poor crossing, Millwall defended well and looked more dangerous in attack, lots of improvement needed

Fair play to Cardiff, sacked a useless manager that had them at the bottom of the league and less than a season later with Warnock they're leading the way!

I'm sure we'll be better off with Lee in the long run though......

I'd put my mortgage on him saying that 'Millwall came for a point'

Not sure I agree on Diedhiou, the service to him has been almost non-existent in the last 2 and half games, harsh to judge him on that.

Maybe mate. Maybe I'm just thinking back too much to Kodjia. He was a player who made things happen out of nothing. Not sure we have one of those now.

We were top after 3-4 games in the year we went down without a fight.

One of those games being the 4-2 win over Cardiff, another the 4-1 over Palace who went up.
