Think we are much better defensively which is a plus. That said it seems the concerns about our goals is proving valid. No threat from the midfield or the strikers. Hopefully we can get Eliasson up to speed soon as Brownhill and Pato just too inconsistent going forward. For all that has been said about Bobby, he still looked most likely to make something happen. And that is part of the problem, would you give LJ anymore money to spend?, take a look at the bench at the cost of players who ain't good enough. Showed his good traits today when we needed. Won't talk about his kicking though. Just don't know why we lost our energy and urgency. Maybe too many games early on for us to keep that pace. Need our last transfers through if any more and get everyone settled in the squad so we can make a few changes at points during the season. Say Woodrow for Fam and Eliasson for Pato for example. The same bloke who for over a decade has promised Premiership football, but clearly isn't committed, given the continuing shambles of coaching and recruitment staff, and the unwillingness to spend what is necessary on players or bring in other investors. Can see little change at Ashton Gate under his stewardship. Same old, same old. We will be lucky to escape relegation back to our comfort zone of division three AGAIN,.
