Hinds, Reid and Eliassons goals !

Loved the shouts of go on' and 'shoooot' when Hinds is coming forward

How many times over the years have we all shouted such , only to see a player hesitate , lose the ball or shot wildly wide or high

Lovely in the rare occasion somebody finds the top corner - made me smile -

great moments and a rightful reward for those who went (fair play)

Awful defending for the first goal, and no idea how the keeper didnt save the third!

Great strike from Hinds though and Bobby right place right time again

Because he expected Niclas to belt it but he cleverly rolled it in leaving the keeper flat footed and flummoxed. Passed it into the net as the cliche goes. :city:

I always thought that was unique to Everton.

found this :

Watford introduced the evocative Fritz Spiegel arrangement of a traditional Liverpool folk song in 1963, 12 months after Everton had done so, and the reasoning is intriguing.

Watford’s Centenary history written by Oli Phillips reports that the club’s manager of the time, Bill McGarry, liked the tune, asked for it to be played as the teams ran out – and his side duly went on a 29-match unbeaten run at their Vicarage Road ground!

After losing at home to Peterborough on October 5, 1963, suggesting the first playing of Z Cars was the 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace on 15 October 1963, the Hornets didn’t taste a home defeat again until December 1964.

Good finish.

Callum has a different problem because just for once I'd like to see him absolutely leather his chances with the correct foot rather than shuffle it to his left and then pass it gently to the keeper.

Too much trying to be clever in modern football. Go back to basics of shooting - the harder you hit it, the less chance of keeper saving it and it he does, then goals from rebounds and corners follow.

Didn't his touch leave the chance on his right foot though?

It certainly did and if anything he shouldn't of hit it as hard as he did, just roll it in either corner and the keeper had no chance, as he hit it down the middle it was an easy save.

Ah well we won and we'll beat Stoke as well.
