Bruce turned round and had quite an amicable chat with the guy and it was pretty good natured even though the city fan was being a semi literate idiot. Unfortunately he was clearly in control of the single brain cell him and his mate apparently share as his friend then got up and randomly started sticking both middle fingers up at Steve Bruce. To be fair to him Bruce then basically said "why did you have to do that we were just having a chat" and gave him a very disparaging look, shrugged his shoulders and turned back round. I remember reading an interview with him a few years ago, possibly when he was at Sunderland, where he said that he'd console himself after a defeat by going home and eating a load of pork pies. Just trying to buy any expensive player he can without any philosophy or style of play. He spent most of the game on the touchline to extent that I was sure he was taking a freekick in the second half. What's the point of a fourth official if they can't even sort that out? cityred exile Posted August 26, 2017 Report Share Posted August 26, 2017 Reckon he is a spent force as a manager think villa one to many clubs on his CV noticed he has brought in 4 players he had at Hull , Managers always have a natural bias towards there own players they have followed around VILLA for instance didn't need there defence adding to this season Its there attack judging by last and this season is the problem Missing Kodja goals and Alberts assists ! oh but they are not Bruce signings are they !
