McGoalsky has just scored again for Newport

His second ?

Major, you're obviously thinking of duelling or boxing. His second isn't allowed on the pitch when Shaun is playing football. So his second couldn't have scored.

Opi Edwards MOTM for Bath today.

And Taylor Moore at Cheltenham apparently.

I think we need to consider a different loan for Freddie Hinds in January though, Johnson Sr doesn't seem to think he is worth a place in their side.

problem is no one wanted him, Gary did us a favour by taking him in the first place

Mccoulsky scores again today. Surely this guy is one that can realistically make it with us. The kid was born to score goals.

Reacts quickest to a rebound, very sharp. Newports winner is bizarre though, the goalkeeper seems to forget he can use his hands. :)

Jonny Smith scored again today to take his tally to 5 Goals now for the first part of the season against Tranmere Rovers today at Prenton Park.... A lovely 15yrd curled past the keeper ... :clapping:

At this rate we’ll need him back ASAP!

Genuine question; when is his loan up?  Might end up in the bench if he comes back...

Loan Watch: Trio extend seasonal loans

Wednesday, January 3rd 2018

Taylor Moore, Joe Morrell and Shawn McCoulsky will spend the rest of the season out on loan.

Moore and Morrell will continue with Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham Town, where both have been regulars this season.

McCoulsky, meanwhile, will be hoping to continue his goalscoring streak in the same division with Newport County, where he has netted ten goals already this campaign.

Scott Golbourne’s loan spell at MK Dons is currently scheduled to end on January 14th. The defender has made 21 appearances to date.

Freddie Hinds (Cheltenham Town), Opi Edwards (Bath City) and Max O’Leary (Solihull Moors) have all returned to Ashton Gate following recent loan stints away from the club. O’Leary was recalled to cope with fellow goalkeeper Frank Fielding’s suspension.

Elsewhere, George Dowling’s spell at Torquay United has been extended for another month, taking him to the end of January, like Harvey Smith and Ash Harper at Weston-super-Mare.

Youngster Cameron Allen has returned to Ashton Gate following the conclusion of his loan spell at Mangotsfield United.

Opi Edwards been recalled from loan at Bath. Possibly in squad at Watford on Saturday, then back on loan to Bath?

I think he could be involved. Has impressed for the U23 and for Bath. Heck of a player. Very direct and quick. Has that weird upright running style but can’t deny the results. I would play him if it were me.
