Could the Wolves match have been a beam back game?

Looking at the remaining fixtures for the rest of the season,

the only beam back game I can see is Preston away on Tuesday march 6th.

We could stay the week in Blackpool on the that week

The only other tuesday night game is Fulham away 31st October

For those not going to Wolves,

would you go to Ashton Gate  for Tuesdays match if it was beamed back?

I think beam backs generally can only be agreed with both clubs on board.

Therefore, notwithstanding the mitigants of second away game in succession, midweek etc if we've not sold our allocation, and you're Wolves, would you agree to it and potentially divert say 200 fans at £25 a pop from Molineux to AG and lose £10k income?

The club may have suggested but I can't see even if they did that Wolves would agree

Leeds did last season and they charge £35+

True - only thing I'd say there is the additional distance to Leeds mean there are less likely to be people, if given the choice of a beam back or travel in a Tuesday, taking the latter approach so the potential lost "custom" for them would have been less

Fair point though.

Might wanna re-run that sum. It's 5k.

I'd much rather beam back matches were saved for later in the season, when it all gets down to crunch time, one way or another.

If we are sat safely in mid table, then all well and good, but as the season unfolds, any sort of involvement at either end of the table, will result in more sell outs and more demand to be able to see games.

Doesn't deserve to be a beam back IMO if we've only sold 600 plus tickets.

Completely agree - the interest is clearly not there for this fixture

I wonder if the ruling on them has been affected by the new iFollow scheme etc?

I think there is a maximum of four games that are allowed to be  beamed back

So the only game that I can see as a eam back is Preston away.

Cardiff away could sell out.

Burton away probably will sell out.

Milwall could, if we are battling at top or bottom end.

Middlesbrough could be possible on a reciprocal agreement.

Forest away, if it's a pivotal game.

There are plenty of options for later in the season.

Guess you are going on the assumption they will only be on an evening?

Could see logic in some long distance Saturday games being an option too later in the season

I think Saturday 3pm games aren`t allowed due to the restrictions on showing live games then even if it is a beam back.

seeing we have a few long distance trips coming up in a short space of time, and wolves not being too far and not selling many tickets i dont think last night should of been a beam back.

Games like Norwich and Ipswich the harder to get too places should be beam backs IMO.

as someone suggested there are only 3 or 4 beam backs a season and both clubs have to agree on them.
