Up The City!
Mixed feelings on this. Pissed off that once again we avoid a big club but delighted we have been handed a home tie against a struggling team. I really fancy our chances. I'd go as far to say we are favourites tbh. Bar BS3
Some peoples view on Cup draws baffles me! We've got a Home, winnable tie, against premier league opposition, which could see us reach the quarter finals of a major domestic trophy, yet some people would prefer us to go and get spanked at Old Trafford or the Ethihad..? samo II
Happy with that; a potentially winnable tie against another top level team at home, and avoiding something like Wolves or Middlesborough away.
Midlands Robin
Not very inspiring but I've wanted to see us go on a proper cup run for ages. We can win this one and then who knows what can happen.
cityexile
8 minutes ago, Fordy62 said: Winnable. But shit. Both of those, but a bit like Watford and Stoke. The real problem with somebody like a Man Utd is that it sucks oxygen out of everything else, as it is the only thing people become interested in. No one breaks out the bunting for this one, and a fighters chance of a last eight. Not a distraction.

Problem is, a bit like Watford and Stoke to be fair, is that we lose this tie more often than not, and we won't gain much financial reward for doing so - unlikely to sell out I'd suggest. Though having said that, Sky seem to have picked up on it as a potential upset, so we may get picked for TV. Not convinced though, imagine it will be Spurs/West Ham.
