Team for Saturday

Sorry Davefevs, but are you serious? He gets the ball 10 foot from the centre backs and passes it to the full backs. If he tries a longer pass, he invariably misses . He's not much use in the air. He doesn't mark anyone but barks out orders to other players who are doing their jobs. He rarely threatens goal, but if he does, he's way off target. He's the weak link in the team. Give me Hegeler, Pack, Brownhill and O'Neil any day. All have more to offer the team. If you guys out there agree, give me a heart. If you disagree, give me a snake.

Same team as tues night.. apart from the forced changed of Brownhill for Pack due to Marlon's suspension.

COD will play as LJ likes playing him away for all the running he does.

Think you are spot on.

If there is a change apart from Brownhill for Pack, my guess is that it would be Woodrow for Diedhiou, who has had to start a lot of games recently.

Looked at the available names in the opening post but in truth I don't know any present day City players.  If not for the supplied list I wouldn't have been able to name one.   Fair enough it's not my club side, by all admittance the last players I could recall at Ashton Gate would be names like Agostino and Tinnion.

Most important thing from this perspective is to simply concentrate on our own squad as obviously I have a far greater understanding of what to expect from them and recognise individual abilities.   McCarthy must have undergone a brain transplant or been hypnotised during the summer as he's now favouring a more attacking emphasis than before and we actually look threatening when going forward.    Last seasons tag of being something as draw specialists has been eventually eroded but even now, I think tomorrow will end all square.      No City team has won at Portman Road since our cup year (1978) although bear mind the number of years kept apart by different divisions.

Obviously would want to win, a draw given the improvement with both clubs and league position would represent something of a fair result.    Just ask for a clean game with minimal referee intervention and something that provides value for money for home fans and visitors alike.      Hope we can attract a bigger crowd than before, but as believe mentioned, many made a vow not to return or renew season tickets after the abysmal performances and scores of before.

You miserable sod....and at the games you don’t shout "great save Frank", or "we’ll played Joe", you’re always formal are you and use their full or surnames.  Does it matter?  I was just writing them different.  Plus I’ve met most of them at Charlton Farm, so am I allowed?

I agree, he or she is a miserable sod...but personally I shout 'well played Joe' - and, as you know, I'm not pedantic!

Ipswich are flattering to deceive imo.

Just a shame Pack has been suspended. Would love to see Jens take his place, and Brownhill take Smiths. Aint gonna happen though.

If we set up to win this game, we have every chance. Ipswich are due a hammering by someone.

Should of put a tenner on it....I knew we were gonna win yesterday. I know stats aren't everything, but they pretty much showed we would beat them easily.
