robin_unreliant
Not sure if this has been mentioned already but life is too short to read 39 pages of posts above. Anyone know what the fee is for being shown live on sky for this game? If we charge normal Gold category prices too this must be a nice little boost to the finances! Major Isewater
Does anyone think they'll lose focus with this game coming up ? They've also got Champions League matches in December. It must be a worry for Moroninho .

Spoons
Getting stupid now- some numpty at work who has spoken to me in YEARS literally had just offered me £400 for my four season tickets for man utd game!! Obviously told him thanks for the offer but go back and crawl under the rock you came from!! Funny thing is the main reason he doesn't speak to me is because my work rota is based around city's fixtures!! Couldnt make this up!!

City Rocker
Haha, I got a text last night from someone I know who is vaguely City but I am aware he hasn't gone to games for years. I replied saying "I'm up in Sunderland mate, meet you for a beer? Or failing that see you at Fulham Tuesday?" I await his reply.
INCRED
Watching the game versus Tottenham and if Smalling & Jones play against us in the cup then I fancy our chances to score Both have a mistake in them and struggle when put under pressure, think they would struggle against Đurić in the air

Kingswoodactor
They look seriously lacking in the middle of the park. Maybe we should go 3-5-2 and flood the central areas like Spurs have done. Pisano and Bryan as wing backs, with Wright, Flint and Maggs as the central 3. Smith, Brownhill and O'Dowda. Reid & Đurić. Actually I like the sound of that team

Garland-sweden
Even at home think MU is to defensive. When they have the ball they pass backwords or in the side , seldom the passes ar forward, Mourinho way of football.

Hell - I think not, AG is far too polite and I’m sure singing some songs about the sags will really worry a team that has played all round the world..... So much of this is thread embarrassing, acting just like the over excited country bumpkins they’d like portray us as.
Mr Popodopolous
Not sure I agree @Maesknoll Red On our day particularly we have a fine atmosphere- by modern English standards in particular. I think it can be- hope it will be- noisy, hostile, partisan. Certainly the crowd will need to stick with the side, not a night for impatience- we need to get right into them. Definitely at AG pre redevelopment I would have been reasonably confident of it at a game vs them.. In theory same principles should apply as it's a lot of same people who were there at such times... We shall see.
