Markman
Recently did Chagstock (Devon) and Kozfest (Devon) - and both had good bands and a really decent atmosphere (and a manageable sized attendance) - any others around the South West (or Midlands/towards London) that people know of and can recommend (I know no bands will be lined up yet but I can keep a look out) Chagstock is really good but it really hinges on the bands - Kozfest is an acquired taste (but I like it)
ZiderEyed
Kozfest is very niche I'll give you that! Beautiful Days in Devon is alright, run by the Levellers as it goes. I'd avoid Sat in a Field near Cheddar at all costs, run by the demonic Weston College.
Admin phantom Posted November 2, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted November 2, 2017 I know the band The Leylines, play lots of local festivals worth a look if they are playing
The Saturday Boy
Watchet festival is ace. 4,000 capacity. Real good vibe.
Mike Hunt-Hertz
A mate of my bro organised a mini festival, Whitstock, at the Whitminster Hotel near Stonehouse. Got the Wurzels, I believe!
Admin Maesknoll Red Posted November 3, 2017 Admin Report Share Posted November 3, 2017 My favourite is Cropredy, Fairport Conventions Festival, a great location, mix of bands and headlined by Fairport on the Saturday night. Good food, real ale, nice walk down the canal to the village and s9me nice pubs, what more could you want.

The Saturday Boy
@Markman @phantom it is indeed a Billy Bragg line, from The Saturday Boy. Seen him 41 times since 1985, with my 42nd time in a couple of weeks. Sea Shepherd are a marine conservation direct action organisation who I'm a volunteer for :-)
