Industrial estate away fans

Last  2 home games Ieeds fans broke a windscreen of a city fans car with a baby in the back.today a Cardiff fan hurls abuse at city fans and bangs on a window shouting at  a 3 year old child.

A few of us pointed the fan out to a copper and were met with abuse by some Cardiff fans .

Now the away fans coaches park down here it's sooner rather than later that a serious riot will occur down there!

Absolutely can't agree more. It's plainly moronic to come up with this plan. I left early against Leeds, but they were banging the roof & sides of my brothers car after the game. Had I not left early, my 5 year old son would of been in the vicinity & it would of probably put him off for life. Then today, some moron Cardiff fans start giving it to us, us being me, my 5 year old son and his Nan! That was before the game! What plank came up with the idea of parking the away coaches in the midst of a well known parking area for City fans? Then on top of that, from what I can see, the police wait at the furthest possible point away from the potential trouble point on the trading estate! COYR

to be fair, things used to be a tiny bit worse when we played Cardiff... rude language is not a riot....

I said there will be a riot down there soon. Smashing the windscreen of a car with a 10 month old baby in the back and today swearing and banginger on the car with a 3 year old in the back.

As a veteran city fan I well remember crowd trouble but most importantly sawith was rival firms not pricks swearing at children and acting hard with a few hundred away fans and no police anywhere.

How about the welsh scumbags trying to break through the fencing behind the dolman after the game?!

PC plods busy videoing city fans standing there doing nothing while watching cardiff imbeciles shaking and climbing the gates.

Funny how its the home fans that are treated as the hooligans.

I got a coke bottle to the Noggin thrown from the cardiff side. Not to mention the kind donations of their bridge toll coins reigning down on us from the other side.

idiots everywhere mate - to be expected though, especially against cardiff. I imagine their forums are full of similar complaints about city? it happens.

Still can't get my head around why both home and away fans are allowed to leave the ground at the same time. Asking for trouble and nightmare to police, especially as everyone seems to head in the same direction. Surely all this could be avoided if the away fans are kept for a little while? Just so the home fans can disperse, or are we not allowed to hold back fans anymore?

If someone smashed my window with my kid in the car I'd get out and have the following words :

"Oi, what's the ******* matter with you, you ******* cock, there's a ******* 5 year old child sat in this car you *****".

I'll guarantee you, everyone in the vicinity will back you up, Welsh, Leeds, Siamese, whatever.

Rather than complain to an anonymous forum, get out the car and stand up for yourself.

Sorry if that sounds bad to anyone, but seriously, stand up for yourself. The public will back you up.

Absolutely sh it policing having both sets of fans out today. Anyone would think ob wanted trouble. Equally is it true that Cardiff were marched south side of the cut causing traffic havoc rather than walk them the other side which is currently closed to traffic? Managed very badly

At full time there was still a group of police in s82 where there was 0% chance of trouble instead of being being behind the Atyeo where they were needed.

First time I have seen them in the EE corner, anyone know why they were there?

I appreciate it's not the point you are making, but am curious how you know the ages of the two children involved @forbespm?

Re: The Cardiff fans in Dolman.

Gobby...or naïve?

By which I mean...

OK so those who live in Bristol will know it's changing rapidly.

Unless those in area know for sure, could it have been student types or rugby fans or otherwise Cardiff fans who assume people can cheer for either side in either end.

I bang this drum periodically but as our success on the pitch grows, we attract new fans.

As this grows, combined with Bristol and how it's changing, we will see this more commonly IMO.

This is 2 out of 2 Saturday home games it's happened in now and I predict as we improve, as our profile increases this scenario will play out more so.
