BBC red button showing Purple studio gig recorded this year by the old timers (like me, )

Just played 'Black Night'  ... used to love the City chant from this song back in the day at The Gate.

The place used to rock with chants of ...

# Nah.. nah, nah, nah, . nah, nah, nah, .. nah nah nah nah nah... BRIS' TOL  FOOT' BALL ! #

.. to this day I can't listen to Black Night without joining in and adding the 'Bristol football' bit... it always takes me back there.

 

Maybe we should hear it more often eh?   

 

What old favourite City chants/songs do you miss from your yesteryears ? ... which ones would still work today?

Now would I ever have thought I'd get that close a connection while I was strutting my stuff in Tiffany's. Did a cracking rendition of 'Smoke on the Water' at 'Guitars on the Beach' down here a couple of years back.
