Bristol Rob
Given that the chairman of the Blue Few has admitted he doesn't see the City of Bristol as a two club city, I think it's about time we dropped the objections to pundits and journalists calling us 'Bristol'. With Rovers conceding their relevance to West country sporting competition, that just leaves us. City. Bristol City. Or, if you want Bristol. We should celebrate this now. ZiderEyed
I genuinely don't mind it any more. People call us Brizzle and that all the time, I see it as a symbol of how irrelevant the blue few are.

REDOXO
I made the point when the Sags were relegated to the bananarama that Bradford City fans don’t Manc about being called Bradford as Bradford Park Avenue are not relevant. Vis a vis Bristol Rovers.

East Yorkshire CideRed
Having lived away from Bristol for such a long time, it’s become the norm, rather than the exception. The vast majority of people I meet refer to us as “Bristol”. Doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

AshtonPark
With everyone saying they don’t mind being called Bristol, as proves rovers mean nothing. Rovers get called Bristol too on tv etc. So it isn’t a proof of who is better
