Does anything separate Bristol City from other football clubs?

Think the current ethos under Lansdown and Johnson sets us apart - the stats analysis and the team spirit + the money to back it up.

Plus Ashton Gate looks amazing since the rebuild.

Not even going to mention the fact we're forced to share a city with horse-punching, minibus-headbutting envious non-leaguers...

Keeps some of the gas off the streets for 90 mins a fortnight. Gives their carers a rest.

Biggest city and club YET to play in the Prem.

But, we're workin' on it...

Put it another way.

The largest city in England with two professional Football League clubs, with the least number of years spent in the top tier of English football. Many that are almost village size compared with Bristol, have achieved many more years than City and Rovers combined.

The largest city in England with two professional Football League clubs which has never won the top league or a major cup.

Too bad that we always have to be coupled to their failures!  We have underachieved but we have still spent more time in the top two divisions than the lower two, something that the sags can only dream of what with their record of only 20 or so seasons in the second tier. When people bring up the history of failure of the Bristol football it always sounds as though we have been equally bad. Not so!

We are the only club in the country that shares its Home city with another club, yet despite having a bigger stadium, bigger support, more successful history, better financial situation and better league placing, are still the smaller club...?
