If they want to win it we will ...and Mourinho has already said he wants to win it so I don’t think it’ll be B team especially in front of the sky cameras..... Mourinho has never been one to play Wenger-esque weak teams in the cup competitions, let alone a quarter-final away from home. I think there'll be rotation but still a strong team out. Full nelson
I think he’ll field a strong side! The PL title race is over and Man City are crusing to the finish line, CL is a while away yet so the only thing they have to play for really right now is the CC and the FA Cup. Selred
I always like to scout the smaller teams before we play them to see their strengths and weaknesses.
ChippenhamRed
So would we rather see United field a full strength side and test ourselves against the best, or a team of reserves that we’re more likely to beat?
AshtonGreat
I predict United's team will be: Romero; Lindelof; Rojo; Tuanzebe; Shaw; Pogba; Herrera; McTominay; Lingard; Rashford; Ibrahimovic

wendyredredrobin
May also be interested to see how the tactical battle between Jose and Lee pans out and how Jose reacts in his post match interview having been knocked out.
Davefevs
Assuming Mourinho doesn’t pick several kids, any of the players in the first team fringe are going to be significant in quality. If he goes with something like @AshtonGreat‘s line-up, we are going to have to be right at-it, and hope they are out for a stroll. But saying that, I have a feeling we are gonna win. Do you think Frankie will be happy about not playing against a top premier team, I think it's only fair he plays after his performances this season. Knowing Frankie (actually I don’t ), I think he’ll be fine...Goalkeeper’s Union and all that. I wouldn’t be surprised if Johnson has told Steele he’ll play in cup games when he signed. OldlandReddies
Anyone think Jose might not risk Pigba against us as he is Uniteds only chance of potentially closing gap on City.
Gillies Downs Leeds
Looking at today's United team, would expect Martial to start on Wednesday. He would be a serious test for one of our full backs.
22A
OK, a few opinions from watching TV. Utd's first goal. The WBA back four formed a straight line and all watched as the ball was played across. Then WBA came close to equalising, but two defenders joined the goalie on the line and they cleared that effort. Utd's 2nd goal; that Albion defence appeared sluggish. Pound Lane Red
United are looking good. Don't think WBA will be causing any shocks today. Comfortable for Man Utd

Flint heads that cross 20 yards back down the pitch all day long for me..........it's what he does. The second goal, keeper has it covered - as would Frankie - just unlucky defender sticks out a foot and the deflection gives the GK no chance. Nothing to worry about folks! mattjtsmith
Just looked at the line up they put out vs Swansea in the last round. Wouldn't surprise me to see a similar line up on wednesday with generally only the youngest ones also playing today. Was also a very similar line up vs Burton in first round ....
