Big C
Caulker and LJ did play in the same team in 2010-11, I guess it would depend on how they got on then and whether LJ feels he can get him playing like that again
cidered abroad
No thanks. Would he pass the Ashton DNA test? And if he isn't considered good enough for Olly's QPR, he isn't for us. Plus, we are not in dire need of any more central defenders, are we?
westred1
He's got too many personal issues (by his own admission) to be a benefit to us at the moment.
Clarky89
Yes. Think Johnson might be the perfect person to get his head straight.
Lanterne Rouge
If Bakes is out long term then yes, I think I would. He has got issues as @Robbored rightly says but if there is a club where those could be sorted at the moment it`s here IMO. If he was to look at it as an opportunity to rebuild his career then go for it I say.
Bristol Rob
He has the talent that means he is well worth a shot, either with us or with someone else, but whoever he signs for, hopefully they are aware of the challenges he is trying to overcome and they have the support mechanisms in place to help him. class not gas
There is a quality player in there somewhere, maybe Johnson and co can bring it out of him.
Edge1981
Great player when he was with us but he isn’t the same player now and we can’t afford to be carrying players when we are gunning for promotion. Didn’t he partially blame us for his gambling problems too?

Calculus
Only 25 and a great player when in good nick. Question is can he be sorted out? Huge reward for anybody that could do it. Maybe worth a punt...

Redtrojan
Surely if you could get him on a short term cheap deal it’s got to be worth a punt.He was quality when last here and only a kid.

UK0wnag3
Wish him well but let’s not sign him based off a decent run of games six years ago. If that’s the case we might aswell see what Ricardo Vaz Té and Jimmy Kebe are up to...
Judda
There was an interesting article in the Gaurdian interviewing him and he said his head was a mess but getting better... never know how long for though I guess. Good luck to him but not at Ashton Gate.

Not sure he blamed us directly but he stated that he was given a flat by Spurs on his own with no guidance/monitoring (by Spurs or us) within walking distance of casino's/bars. bcfcredandwhite
I thought he could have been the next Tony Adams from what I saw during his time with us. I also thought Danny Rose was an utter waste of space during the same spell - spent all his time sat on his arse crying for a free kick. Funny how things work out - or perhaps I just don’t understand football!!!

Davefevs
From a football romantic stance, wouldn’t it be great if we could offer him some time with us, just to help him get his life straight and career somewhere back in track. I’m sure the football-world has helped him somewhat, but would be a great to see a player who was so good in his loan spell here have some form of rehabilitation here. Of course it’s unlikely to happen, but our club does lots of good, and it would be nice to see them try.
