Lanterne Rouge
Obviously we`ve sold out our end but has anyone any idea how many Man City have sold for the rest of the ground?
CloudyThatchers
I don’t think the top tiers are on sale to the home fans so doubt it will be more than 35k??

Admin Chris Posted January 7, 2018 Admin Report Share Posted January 7, 2018 One of our visitors from Manchester said they thought it would be around the 40k mark
Lanterne Rouge
So it could easily be 20% City on the night then, nice one.

myol'man
how many were there yesterday for the Burnley match? Burnley had the same uptake as us (7,600)
wayne allisons tongues
All I know they are struggling to sell tickets. Trafford centre, city centre up here have huge electronic boards advertising the game. Quite nice to drive through Manchester and see our name up in lights. Xiled
Really incredible with the players that they have that all home games don't sell-out. Unfortunately it probably confirms the idea that the other Manchester team have a lot of 'supporters' from well beyond the city boundary. My one experience of a game at Old Trafford (vs Leicester) two years ago was that there were hundreds/thousands of tourist supporters. They had no more idea where they were going than I did. And the atmosphere was cack. Maybe Man City have a smaller supporter base but at least they won't be there as part of a holiday.
