Thought it was 12-16 weeks when he injured himself which was what? Mid October? I would put it closer to 16 weeks just because he is close to 30. That is basically 4 months so mid February. Would be March I would think before ready to play 90 min. Imagine he would get some u23 minutes before he comes back to first team.

Yes he last played against Fulham on October 31 when he suffered the injury early in the game. The verdict was three to four months so February/March. Being a bit of a geek, I keep a City diary.

Wasn't it reported by the physio that the muscle had come away from the bone?

He was at the Etihad on Tuesday as was walking unaided so that's a positive.

Correct mate

Hes been posting daily working out quite rigorously at David Lloyd’s for last couple of weeks so I would say he can’t e miles off though I guess running and especially sprinting will be the major hurdle

If his Instagram was anything to go by then he watched the Reading game from the top of the Lansdown stand.

If he can walk all the way up there he must be match fit, surely?

Yes. He and his wife are constantly posting pics and videos of them out and about in Bristol doing stuff. They’ve had their second child in the last 6 weeks or so as well, another Bristolian child! ;)

Thats all good. Has time on his hands.. Maybe not yet ready for light training.

Yes, he walked past me with a spring in his step.

In Bill Shankly's days, a roll of Gaffer tape would've sorted this out.

Players like Tommy Smith played with two broken legs in them days

and the real hard nuts even played when they were dead.

Not that hard, they were only clinically dead.

And still the BBC wouldn't have noticed.

Whilst I am looking forward to the return of Eros, it does raise the questiin of which centre back we have to drop.

Great problem to have, probably made it easier for LJ. I do think that we will be even better with a genuine FB in position, specially going forward but also positioning. BW has done a great job, but he is not a FB. In a strange way having BW at FB it allows us to play a less defence minded winger/wide man ahead of him.

Ive always rated Bryan but does anyone think its a bit of a coincidence hes become very good this year- an experienced fullbacks guidance?

Jamie Mac has been working extensively with him and I expect this is where the marked improvement has come from. See what you're saying though.
