Wanderingred
Chins up lads and lasses. We haven't suddenly become a poor team overnight, LJ will get us back on track. Nice to see that we still have that four point cushion to 7th. 1 Quote Link to comment
Aizoon
Norwich always our bogey team Sad after December but still early days yet. Could still be auto promotion though. COYR Quote Link to comment

All down to LJ playing Walsh in the no.10 role, instead of Pato who was then ineffective on LHS of midfield. We would have done much better with same starting line-up as against Man City. Pato in the hole, Bryan LHS midfield, Mags LB. Just a thought, maybe Magnússon was knackered after playing 90 minutes against Sterling in the week? Quote Link to comment

WestMidsRed
They were nothing special and we should have taken the chances when we had them. Derby looks like a must win now given our form in the league... and that's not going to be an easy task. Quote Link to comment

I’m all for doom and gloom when we’re shit and in the relegation zone. By all means, wallow in negativity then. But the absolute meltdown of some fans at a loss when we’re in virtual nosebleed territory in the table and one win away from a major cup final is unreal. It’s annoying, yes. But let’s chill...! Long way to go yet. Edited January 13, 2018 by Robin101 5 Quote Link to comment
Johnr1986
Think automatic looks unrealistic now, 3 loses in row bad form, can’t see us getting anything for Derby, would take 6th in heart beat right now! Quote Link to comment

I was there for the 2007/8 season anyway. You've given our two respective signings 60 and 30 minutes until you dismiss them. Shut up. 4 Quote Link to comment

petehinton
If we are just going to rely on 2 loan players to strengthen in Jan then it’s another promotion chance wasted unfortunately. Neither of them have played any football this season. Can’t expect them to come in and do much. Kent has played about 15 minutes since October and completely killed us today. 2 Quote Link to comment

iamalagerdrinker
That game was screaming out for Diedhiou, I can handle losing if we play badly but we played some great football but just couldn't make that killer pass into the final third, very frustrating Quote Link to comment

Maybe, but even then Pato in the no.10 role, gets up and supports Reid. Walsh just did not do that at all, leaving Reid isolated. Walsh showed some nice touches but did not work in that role at all. Lordofthebling
That was a sucker... had three or four chances to win that. Not sure moving Pato out wide is a good move at all. Quote Link to comment
TheCulturalBomb
If we we're a set of wheels you could say we are having a blast drifting (cup run) but the damage is being done (the league). Sooner we drive on a straight road the better. Quote Link to comment

Alessandro
Frustrating stuff. Some nice football - but the lack of killer ball key. Smash and grab by Norwich, don’t think we dealt with their 5 across the back and we NEED to do better against teams that come to sit back or counter. It will happen over and again between now and end of season with teams coming to do the same, because that’s how to beat us. But onwards and upwards, pick up and go again. All will be forgotten if we beat Derby away. Quote Link to comment
