ExiledAjax
As a bit of fun here is the full 92 team table for the calendar year of 2017. Completely and utterly meaningless - for example, every Premier League team plays 6-8 fewer league games than Football League teams in a calendar year. However, for interest we are the 7th highest ranked Championship team and are 27th overall. Might be some sort of salve to those suffering from 5 losses on the bounce. Note - he's done it all on a "per-match" basis so its ranked by ppg not raw points scored. Alessandro
Bit strange when you get a cross over in divisions - for example Sheff Utd who are classed Championship, but only for a bit of 2017. EDIT - yeah as you said a bit meaningless!
Assassin Reid
Lincoln placed fourth behind three of the big guns - and that doesn't even include their marvelous cup run.
Roe
74 points is a pretty incredible return from a year that we went into in almost complete chaos. I think Einstein once said "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"..
Dr Balls
Also it makes you realise what a turnaround is needed at Sunderland & Birmingham to get them out of relegation trouble as they are 92nd & 90th respectively. Those are teams that are used to losing!
LondonBristolian
Interesting that the top three are all Premier League - really shows the gap between the very, very top teams and the rest of the Premier League is much greater than any other division. Warwickshire Red
Cardiff have done well on these stats so maybe won’t fall away as some predict especially if they land Grabban. Warnock doing a good job there it has to be said.
