tinman85
Convinced if we play this we score more goals. Baker Flint and Wright at the back. Bryan and Brownhill wing backs. Smith Pack with Paterson in a free role behind Famara and Reid.
And Its Smith
And maybe concede more. Team are 5th without it and everyone knows their job. With the pressing and movement it is almost machine like at times. Crazy to change formation and risk it all
Dr Balls
Exactly the team I suggested last week when looking for a plan B. Can't give us any less goals than the last 3 league games!
Lrrr
I'd feel more confident if we had an out and out right wing back, but agree that our squad largely does appear to suit the formation.

JoeAman08
Our problem has been keeping goals out. We usually look like scoring even if we don’t always score 2-3. Derby and Norwich are extremely good defensive teams so while not ideal to not score, we did have a couple chances in each. Diedhiou back with Djuric and COD on the way and we will be fine for goals. Wouldn’t say no to another striker though.
Maltshoveller
3-5-2 Talk to any coach Its great for going forward but hard to get right at the back
Rossi the Robin
No, we are where are not playing 3-5-
Phileas Fogg
Good to have this as an option to play, but I think our system is fine how it is. Besides, we have no specialist right wing back.
AppyDAZE
Calling for 3 5 2 seems to suggest that we haven't done so well playing the formation that we have so far. And yet here we are, in the P/O positions in January, little old Bristol City. No, more of the same please boys. I agree with Lee. if we can hang in until we get some more bodies back we'll be alright and can still suprise a few. PS after tonight my money is on Villa and not Derby for autos

Always good to have another option, and I think LJ recognises this....in fact in periods of games he has switched to this. The side is drilled to a 442/4411 variant, but can flex....and LJ has said that they do practice other set-ups.

BTRFTG
3-5-2 : with two more upfront than of late that we'll score more is somewhat a 'No S**t Sherlock' conclusion.

We have been stronger defensively but there are 10 teams who have conceded less than us. There are other stats that suggest we are mid table when it comes to defending. We have made it to the top 6 with goals
