Dont seem that long age we were playing them in the playoffs.

That was the high point of their existence.

The North East is a real case of haves (Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough)

and have nots (Hartlepool, Darlington, Gateshead, South Shields, Ashington, Durham City).

Just asking a question.....but where does the money being raised, go?  Hope it doesn’t go to the owner who mIs-managed this club?

From the article:

"A crowdfunding website at JustGiving.com started by fan Rachel Cartwright now stands at almost £60,000 and will be used to pay club wages and bills, helping to stave off administration while Pools looks for a new owner."

I just realised the irony. Today 'pool were playing Wrexham. The last time City p[layed Wrexham, they were struggling and fans from all clubs were urged to support Wrexham morally & financially that day.  City acted as professionals and won 3-1. Today Wrexham won at Hartlepool.

I imagine if most fans from every Premier and League club gave a fiver, it would do the trick!

Why fans? I think Premier league fans shell out enough.. how about the players and staff from the premier league all give them a few quid?
