Londoner
Shocking. Trying to boost goal difference in this league shows a complete lack of respect to the opposition and we desere to get bitten on the arse with those comments. I couldn' give a shit if he is being honest. He should know better and he has to take responsibility for his naivety. So angry.

cityexile
When it went 3-1, just tighten it up and take the points. Was far to open in the last twenty, with chances both ends. Yes two of their goals were borderline flukes, and we should have scored more, but blimey, sometimes just take the win.
Northern Red
Can't see a lot wrong with what he said tbh. I get the feeling that nothing he could have possibly said would be considered acceptable to you though.
GrahamC
Agree with the OP. There were several occasions towards the end of the first half where one or two decided to showboat too. Against a more physical poor side we would have picked up injuries when taking the piss. Terrible complacency.

This league is so unpredictable we should never show a teams such a lack of respect regardless of league position. Some tough lessons for players and management today. And Its Smith
How can he make such poor decisions? Decisions that most fans wouldnt make. Why do his teams always win loads and then not win for ages?
Full nelson
Clearly hasn’t learned anything from a year ago to the day (11/2/17) There’s something about this weekend!!! We can’t hold a 3 nil advantage, Derby last year comes to mind.

The Batman
This was tried by Liverpool when they were 3-0 up against Palace and tried to score more for goal difference purposes. 3 points are far more important.
EstoniaTallinnRed
LJ just on RB now saying it was all his fault and is apoligising for his wrong tactics. Still listening niw.
Alex_BCFC
I think at half time we were all thinking of the goal difference. But when it goes to 3-1 you make sure you shore it up and get the win. The sub at half time should have been Walsh I think.

Londoner
How many times is he going to apologise for mistakes. Derby 3-0 - 3-3 Brighton home being a "free game" and losing 4-0 Sunderland "goal differencr" and drawing 3-3.

Robin Goch
Why should he apologise though? That game should have been a goal difference booster. Sunderland were easily one of the worst teams I’ve seen down the gate for a long time and they were there for the taking. If we’d have tightened up after getting 3 goals so early then there would have been an outcry. Yes changes should have been made earlier after possibly the first and definitely the second but that was a game we should have won by 5 or 6 no question. Johnson did the right thing in trying to rectify the recent amount of goals against us since Christmas.
Ivorguy
Sadly LJ is still cutting his teeth as a manager and we are his experiment. Again this is down to the club's project's approach Hopefully the project will work but if it doesn't is what has always worried me.
Beni71
He’s made a mistake and admitted to it. Yes a missed opportunity given other results. Can you imagine a human being making a mistake. It’s lucky all Bristol City fans never make mistakes....

He has just taken one for his team. He was let down by players that couldn't pick themselves after taking their foot of the gas! He made a comment he told a few what he thought, yeah I bet he did!....Reid going off was the catalyst. Diony was rubbish, utter rubbish, but we waisted chance after chance after chance. We got a point because of a wonder save! FF comes out of this with credit. No one else! I am sick as it gets!

That is the reason why most people would agree that us fans should not be managing the football club. I would expect a professional manager to never lower his game plans in the professional game to that of the average football fan. If he thought it then don't admit it. I don't have a problem with it but there again I am just the average fan!!

BCFCGav
At 3-0 who wasn’t thinking of cancelling out the Aston Villa result? I certainly was, as were my mates. At 3-1, ok, shore up for the points (which we didn’t in the end). But I can see where LJ is coming from.
