Uruguay are good relative to their population size because of the fact that cows outnumber humans there. Many years ago, cows were the dominant champions of the country but were not allowed to compete in international tournaments due to species specific rules. Selective breeding among the human population eventually meant the cows were defeated and from that day onward a little bit of football magic has been in the genes of every newborn in Uruguay.
