Looked to me like he ran towards the ball and then stopped when he realised Bobby was running onto it, does that not count as involvement?

Unlikely unless he made it look like he was going to actually play the ball.

Ultimately comes down to linesmans and referees interpretation.

Will we collapse the 2nd half again?

If Weds get one back it will send fear through AG yet again.

Need to seriously learn to close games down, lets hope it starts today.

The club shop is stocking up with brown underpants to go on sale at half time.

Lets get some more Goal difference may count.

Not going to knock you, as I was saying exactly that at HT v Sunderland. Just want the three points.

We have looked very good, they have looked tired. We all know a goal can change the mood, and funny things start happening in your head.

that's what LJ tried to do against Sunderland!

tbf, totally agree with you mind, the rest of the season now feels like it's all or bust, no point playing it safe anymore, we need a run, we need a bag of goals, we need confidence back. let's smash em!

Bobby hardly played during that era!

True but I think it is wonderful that that group of players have developed so well. Ayling should have stayed as he I am sure would be playing . Credit the coaching for helping them all improve so much. They all have such a strong belief and respect between themselves. That is the heart of the team. Really wonderful to see.

Strange game. Weds could easily of had 3 themselves.

People saying they are playing badly, I think they have actually tried to play football  when they have had the ball. We have just been even better.

Score aside, decent game, unlike last weeks awful fare.

Wednesday team is full of youths today, great for us to get back to winning ways.. won’t play a poorer lineup again for the rest of the season.. we can hit 6 or 7 today

And we should be going for the kill. Not gung-ho but forcing 5/6/7 goals.

That's our best 45 minutes of 2018.

Other than the scoreline, it's not even comparable to the game against Sunderland, who remarkably had the better of the first 20 minutes before collapsing.

Sounds greedy, but I want our best 90.
