We all know he is our best defender but his availability, which had been excellent up until January, had not been so great since. Wild challenge at home to QPR leading to a 3 match ban, injured at Cardiff so misses 2 more games & clearly said he was fit to play today but LJ now thinks otherwise. For a big bloke he is surprisingly fragile and secondly liable to get booked /sent off . I thought that he had grown up but it appears that he hasn't. I thought maggers did great today in his half, won every header, tidied up and played it simple, banged it long when he had to and got forward a couple of times to aid the attack, he has had a few harsh lessons this season and I'm hopeful he has learnt from it and can progress from here, there is a very good player in there. Think the midweek first goal may have been a factor. Plus, we would then have started with Pisano, in his second game since October, Wright, who missed the Sheff Wed game, plus Kelly, who was making only his second league start ever.
