500 tickets sold, anything less than 1,500 is pathetic.

Haven't got my ticket yet, waiting on payday (Friday) so hopefully people are doing the same thing.

Why is it pathetic?

Easter weekend, so that will have an impact on numbers anyway, add in the issue of trains already mentioned on here , and it’s not bad numbers.

Any news on the possibility of subsidised coach travel for the last couple of away games?

With the train issues you mention, is this not an opportunity for the club to look into? Appreciate short notice until the game.

@ZiderEyed mentions, would be good if the club looked into this for the Boro game? Depending on results , this could be a massive game , and considering the distance from Bristol would tempt more to travel and back the team?

Should be an attractive line-up as well. We should have an almost full strength squad for this one given the time off over the next weekend. Personally I would go for:

Fielding

Pisano Flint Wright Baker Kelly

Brownhill Pack Smith Bryan

Reid Djuric

Subs: Wollacott, Mags, O'Dowda, O'Neill, Walsh, Diedhiou, Paterson

I'd rest Diedhiou as he's not been brilliant in the last two matches, would reward Kelly for his excellent deputising and then play Bryan further up.  Going on recent injury updates I'd say COD will be on the bench.  Then I'd drop Paterson and send Diony and Kent off to the U23s for some training. Query Hegeler for Walsh or O'Neill to give a slightly more flexible bench.

Apparently Steele got a nasty one in training so would expect Wollacott to warm the bench again.

Good team

Excellent, another thread that'll allow the usual suspects to slag off our away support.

Yet go to 1 away game a decade....

considering the mileage is lot in the south west of England (even Cardiff included) have to do for away games our attendances are strong.

Most away games we have to make a weekend of it unless you want to be out the door at 8 in the morning and home again at gone 10 at night.

Thats the crux of it imv, we ALWAYS take good followings to London and places in the south but never take as many up north. Clubs in the Midlands can go anywhere virtually and be back at a reasonable time.

Yep. Even though an unusually large proportion of our London aways are on midweek evenings, we always have a good turnout.

Even with night games they aren’t going to be back home gone midnight. Most of ours however we are lucky if we are home before 1 in the morning!!

Our away support, for a team who have been around the play offs all season and averaging 20k at home is piss poor.

Our away support, at the turn of the year, was 12th out of 24. So, pretty average (in the original sense of the word). And higher than Cardiff. Who have been around the automatics all season.

Taken over a whole season being about 12 to 14 out of 24 is neither "piss poor" nor something to toss ourselves off about.

Stop beating yourself up about away numbers. You guys aren't the best positioned for getting around the grounds. And let's face it, we can't all be Wednesday can we. They are MASSIVE. When they came to Oakwell, rumour was there were about a million locked out.

Anyway, those that can make it, you'll be very welcome. And yes, as per the post further up, the Old Number 7 is a lovely real ale place. Plus you must fancy your chances. We are truly hopeless and appear to be going down.
