I got this off the Guardian football page which, interestingly enough is written by someone calling himself Scott Murray. I think, if I'd been a Leicester supporter I would have asked for my money back.

Blackpool 1 - 5 Chelsea
Burnley 6 - 1 Man Utd
Fulham 10 - 1 Ipswich
Leicester 2 - 0 Everton
Liverpool 6 - 1 Stoke
Nottm Forest 3 - 3 Sheff Utd
WBA 4 - 4 Tottenham
Sheff Wed 3- 0 Bolton
Wolves 3 - 3 Aston Villa
West Ham 2 - 8 Blackburn

And West Ham fans also apply to that!

Always good to see Manchester United get stuffed. Best that brings a tea to a veteran Burnley fans eye!

Swindon lost two-nil away at relegation bound Bradford Park Avenue that day... Swindon did get promoted that season! A team that included Mike Summerbee and Roger Hunt... Oh to be of THAT generation. Boo.

Scott Murray of the Guardian is famous for writing one of the best ever cricket commentaries. If you've not seen it before it is well worth a read http://sport.guardia...,914033,00.html

It just goes to show that the goals in 1963 were bigger than the ones used now.

They always looked bigger to me - but I was only 8 at the time....

and how did we do on that day?

On the upside we beat QPR 3-0 in front of 10,681. The downside was that the game was abandoned at half time due to fog.

That is gutting! Even I feel sorry for you there! You won the rearranged fixture though
