Dan Of The Dolman
City obviously holds a special place in his heart still as I know he has been at the Peterborough and Sheffield Wednesday game, We could do with him back but it is unlikely but if he did I would see it as Mr Lansdown and Mr Wilson seeing there is a problem and trying to solve it. elko
I bought a paper and in the bar about 20 people were peeking over my shoulder trying to read about it. After reading about two lines they were all muttering 'speculation'.

Steve Watts
Four words spring to mind....desperate for a story! Although....I play footy with Scott's cousin (certainly didn't inherit pace from that side of the family!) And allegedly (!) Scott got Goater to have a word with Coppell to tell Sidwell to pass to him!!! :Laugh4: Sidwell apparently only ever goes straight for goal (remind you of anyone....? pot's, kettle, black!) and Scott's not happy about it! Classic schoolboy stuff....! Not much chance of a move back though! :Confused13:
Cider Queen
Not at all surprised about this story, if anyone watch Reading match on Friday (on Sky) they would have seen Murray touch the ball about 5 times in the entire match. Not so much his fault - no one was passing to him.. it's obvious that Reading don't play to his strengths (his speed). He seemed to do a lot of running for not much gain.. I felt really sorry for him and really sorry for us on Saturday! Oh how we miss him and more to the point how we miss that excitement!
Guest rossitl
It would be the best thing Lansdown could do - Bring back Murray!!! Hes great and made our season last year. He will be the last piece of the jigsaw (should never of let him go in the 1s place)

Gazred
Even if the rumours are true, wheres the money going to come from? I guess may be we could offload someone like Danny Coles if anyones interested come xmas. Anyway we have a squad good enough to get us out of this division its just a case of them playing to the levels that we know they can.

CIDER NOT CIDRE
I'm not sure we should try and fit him into out formation, I get the feeling he'd be very adept in the role of kitman?

Bristol Rob
I think we should dig up the first ever thread on OTIB. It was started by a junior estate agent who made a fortune from selling Curbishly houses. With his new found wealth, he managed to convine Stacey Penton to go out with him. downendcity
I think we should dig up the first ever thread on OTIB. It was a poll. Will that Brunel chap get permission for his bridge over the gorge or will the council turn him down because of local opposition from people who take their dogs for walks up the cliff face? I think Aizoon was the first to reply saying he didn't know about dogs, but Horace was out of puff half way to the top when he tried.
