  1. radio Bristol reporting that Bristol City woman will continue to play at Ashton Gate stadium and not at the high performance center at Failland in the new season 2023/24
  2. as there will not be any Sky football effecting ourselves from, the end of May till mid August, why not save some money and cancel for the summer The euros will carry us through most of Summer, hopefully right till the end on 14 July
  3. Less trains don't stop at FAW maybe less THROUGH trains stop at FAW. All Cardiff/Portsmouth/Cardiff stop at FAW ALL BTM to Gloucester/BTM local trains stop at FAW The reduced services are the Weston to Bristol Parkway local stopping trains The Weston to Bristol Parkway services now go Weston to Severn beach which is better in my opinion as it serves more local stations. If its any consolation, I have suffered as well because now trains terminate at FAW I have less trains to get me home to Bristol Parkway As regards what you call extra lines these were reduced from 4 to 2 lines in the mid 1970's and then reinstated recently
  4. all clubs are sent a request list before the new fixture lists are compiled. Bristol City always request not to be at home on balloon fiesta WEEKEND
  5. I noticed we were last on for the Rotherham game, and we normally are at the ass end of the highlights, and only a few seconds long Regarding the kick off times of the five championship games Sky have stated that the full live will be announced up to January 2025 So if all five games are put on at 12:30pm up against BT/TNT prem game There will be no need to adjust fixtures If the five games are spread over fri/sat/sun/mon OTHER fixtures MIGHT have to be re-arranged The reason I stated about the ITV/AGM on thursday is the fact that in my opinion ITV would only have friday and saturday games to show highlights OR they will have a second highlights show on Monday/Tuesday. So I will ask the question about HIGHLIGHTS coverage to see what the situation might become. On the first weekend of the season 2024/25 we will be away due the balloon fiesta taking place I think on that weekend only, it WILL be fri/sat/sun/mon as there are no prem games
  6. kick off planned for 12:30pm Any one know if its still on,due to weather conditions
  7. Love the travel, when I ain't driving,it seems to take for ages coming back from anywhere on winter evenings/nights
  8. Looking at that attendance table Only three teams apart from ourselves have NOT be in the Prem,Preston Millwall and Plymouth
  9. Sheffield Wednesday(LOSE) at Sunderland Plymouth(WIN) home to Hull Birmingham(WIN) home to Norwich Then it won't be so far to travel next season(23/24) See all you hoards at Stoke next Saturday and don't forget for those using the trains Stoke City ground can be seen on the right hand side in direction of travel above the embankment by the green footbridge if the train ain't going to fast. Suggest reserving a seat/s as all the trains heading north start their journeys at Plymouth As the train/s will be pack make sure you stock up with yer bottles of pop, chocky bars, sandwiches and liquid refreshments before you board the train. Could we really win their for the sixth time in a row? we must be their bogey side,so lets hope it continues For all you hords that are using the train from BTM or Bristol Parkway have the tickets issued from Parson Street
  10. I think football is still adjusting to the effects of Covid, but its this coming season that does concern me. With five of the Saturday 3pm Championship games being moved for live television coverage I can see less season tickets and match day ticket sales be purchased. I still think that the five live planned games will all be kicking off at 12:30pm on saturday I might find out a little more when I attend the ITV AGM meeting this coming Thursday
  11. and for all the hoards heading to Stoke by train, get the tickets issued from Parson Street if your starting your journey from BTM or Bristol Parkway Stokes ground can be seen on the right hand side above the embankment on the approach to Stoke
  12. Charles Breakspear from Surrey normally does 1st and 2nd division games and only his second time this season that he as reffed a Championship game. Although he does like his cards,34 games with 164 yellows, 9 reds
  13. Being held in Germany I recall a Bristol version held at the Bristol club in Bristol just before one of the tournaments(2010?) Also several were held in London prior to the Ukraine/Poland tournament in 2012
  14. Channel 726 if your in the BBC west aerial Semenyo and Scott start Hill(matts son) and LLoyd Kelly on the bench
