Personally I think it's down to not enough centre halves in the squad. Time to bring in a couple more before the window shuts. If nothing else we could be the first to field an entire team of them, giving us an outside chance of a clean sheet.

Did those moaning really expect us to take anything from Wolves? Our survival will not be achieved in games like this. It's our home games in particular, especially against the lower teams in the league that will see us either survive or be doomed.

I really really can't stand Wolves, or Wolves fans. Numerous incidents over the decades that I won't bore everyone with by going over again. I find it incredible there are 1,000 City fans still willing to put themselves through another trip to that hell hole Molineux. All credit to them, just hope we can somehow find a way to smash that Wolves jinx today. Can't see it though, some things aren't meant to be, it seems, and any match against Wolves is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Wolves 3-1.

SC has 9 points from 7 games (2w,3d,2l. That's 1.28 per game, Carry on like that and we'll get another 26 points to get us to 50 points in total. In 4 out of the last 5 seasons that has been enough (in the other a team went down on goal difference with 50 points). We have 20 games left and still have to play all of our relegation rivals a second time from Gills in 14th downwards. These are going to be the really key games starting with Carlisle next week, rather than away games against the like of Wolves and B'ford which are rivals will probably lose as well.

There are a lot of complaints about the defence after every match. Much of this is justified but I don't think the defence is the main problem. In any match, if you don't control the midfield, you don't control the match. How often has City controlled the midfield in any match in recent years? We've got too many midfield players who can do some nice touches, or can run around a bit, but where are the tough players who can tackle, track opposing players etc? (If anybody knows, please tell Cotts so that he can sign a couple)

It seems to me it is likely to make little difference if defenders keep giving away goals with individual errors. An endless stream of signings by successive managers has improved nothing in that respect. I struggle to remember a period when we had so many bad defenders. That is what is likely to take us down again, not JET.

I'm getting fed up with this. Each week people keep complaining that City concede two goals per game. Today City don't - and still people complain!

Will another midfielder track back? Maybe another defender and play 5 at the back. Barnett up front who will track back and drop into midfield. If jet isn't going to track back and help we are basically playing with 10. I think Baldock now has more league goals than jet so he is playing ok, still missing chances but chases back and helps the midfield. We can't keep playing with 10 men and let teams have space all the time. Defence starts from the forwards and only 1 of them is defending.

Whatever Jet's faults it's not him giving away goals every week. I'm not sure replacing him with another midfielder who won't defend will make much difference anyway.
