  1. I know that the #CityWave gets a lot of slack, however it looks incredible and I don't know many other clubs who do something similar. Look at this vine of the #CityWave when the players came out https://vine.co/v/OUWveQbKhvw

  2. Thought you lot were excellent today support wise, very loud throughout and looked more than 5.1k. As for the game, two quite evenly matched sides, we had more shots and chances but you lot had better and more worrying chances. One thing that seems to becoming clear is that Craig Pawson, an apparent select group referee made a very bad decision with not awarding us a pen after Ayling blatantly handballed it from Carruthers' ball in. It looked a pretty stone wall penalty from where I was, but it also seems the ref has apologised to our manager afterwards. Karl Robinson said post match: Either way, on balance I think the draw was the right result. I can't see Bristol City not getting promoted through the automatics, I think you are looking good for top, but at the very least second auto. Certainly the best attacking side we've played against (and probably joint best with us). You seem a very hard side to beat. If we and you lot go up I'll be happy, hate Swindle and Preston seem to be falling away. Can see Sheff Utd or Bradford going up through playoffs.

  3. Have a good day out BCFC fans, I am sure you will have a decent day regardless of the result, it is not as bad of an awayday as people make out IMO (maybe on a cold Tuesday night). You just have to plan where you are going pre game in advance. I would recommend either of the Wetherspoons in the city centre, the pubs in Fenny Stratford or The Enigma Tavern in Bletchley. I will be in The Moon Under Water (Wetherspoons at the Xscape) from 12 and expect to see a few of you lot in there. May the best team win. We are both going up anyway

  4. It was a clear dive,he knew it and all City fans knew it. Pretty embarrassing really because if he had stayed on his feet theirs a good chance we may have scored.

  6. So that'll be 4 points against the 'best team' in the league. and only one point for them. Will settle for that, well done City!

  11. Well here we are lads and lasses on the day when 2nd entertains 1st. The best two teams, as of this day, lock horns for the reverse fixture of earlier in the season when City earned a narrow 1 goal advantage in our 3-2 home win. I think we were worth a bit more than that from what I have read and seen so today we can probably afford ourselves being 2nd best but, of course, still winning. That is all that will matter especially today. I think the travelling maraud will be so entertained by their own electric atmosphere that a poor display will not matter two hoops just as long as we win. Is this the proverbial 'pivotal' seasons defining match for both teams? is it just another match? The first question may not be cut and dried but the second i think we can say an emphatic 'no' to. I am still pondering what more to write here about the 'history' of a club many feel is somewhat mythical. Perhaps assuaging the more vitriolic amongst us by placing the word 'Dons' in inverted commas nothing will quell the discussion that polarises opinion and that will no doubt rumble for another generation... How does one try and summarise the history of this club in one paragraph? Impossible. One thing I needed to be reminded of though is that the idea of moving the club first came from Sam Hammam, was put into action by a couple of Norwegians, and finally made to happen by Pete Winkelmam who, at the time was a shareholder in a supermarket and stadium scheme that were looking for any team to move to MK not just Wimbledon; - PW finally buying the club in entirety to stop it going into Liquidation. So, from what I can gather here.. He saved a club from becoming extinct long after the move to MK was mooted, developed and signed up to. The vitriole against him or the club, in general, is perhaps understandable but i think one should be shouting down Sam Hammam more than anybody else or perhaps the two Norwegians. The entity itself has long since moved away from those early instigators. And while I of course do not understand the nuances and 'devil in the detail' information one move by PW that, for me, clears him of being the hate victim, if not saving a club in administration, was the handing back of all the trophies to Wimbledon.. and, of course, rightly so in 2006. Wimbledon football club is not MK Dons or vice versa and it is far too simplistic to blame the team that resides in MK on the temporary disappearance of Wimbledon.. That somebody saved the then existing Wimbledon would not have done so had the club remained in an unsustainable ground share with Palace. Anyway... I am not a fan of the Dons from MK and the sooner they drop that title from their name the better; no trophies and no history so why use it? End that anomaly and they might get a few more on side. back to now.. I salute every single fan going today.. please make some noise like you have never before and give us that 12th man and why not the full subs bench while you are at it. No reason, whatsoever, why we cannot win this match. Consistently proving we are the best team in this division and, to my mind, we should be farther ahead than we are; lets start doing that from today. 1-2 Agard and JET.. when he comes on. 5,030 City Fans 11,110 Keyners.

  12. Live in the Hub. Really like MK. Have only lived in Bristol, Edinburgh and MK and despite the obvious charms of the other two, MK isn't 3rd by much (30 mins into the centre of London helps).

  13. Fair enough and wasn't claiming the MK support next to the City fans were raising the decibels, more that the home end did a decent job. Just for clarity, my lot is Bristol City, I was just in the home section today.

  14. Yep, I was quite impressed. They had a couple of chants that they kept going with reasonably incessantly and generally got behind their team. Have heard many more funereal home crowds, just that City were mobbed up and made a very big racket. Not many home crowds in league 1 would have been heard above that. Not sure if attempts were made, but Tom Thumb's 'Dooby dooby doo' wasn't heard at the other end of the ground. Terribly upsetting...

  15. If you mean noise, not sure it was as bad as it appeared. I was down the MK end and it seemed okay and pretty consistent singing. City fans being mobbed up, making a load of noise themselves (and the miracle of physics meaning people 150 yards away don't sound as loud as those next to you) will have made it sound worse than it was. If you mean attendance, again, no worse than most teams in this league (including some of those pushing for promotion). We turned up with 5k and made a right old racket - think that was the unusual event for league 1.

  16. Looked to me like Little was already on his way down as if he had slipped just before the challenge. Could be wrong though, always hard to tell. Never thought it was a pen.

  17. was the same with Little and his dive in the box, swings and roundabouts

  18. Yep. Of course it is manufactured, but thought it looked great when our lot came out.

  19. Happy with the point. I think the ref bottled it a bit today and steered clear of making any brave decisions. Should have booked Powell for a dive that belonged on the 10m board in the first half, and wasn't on top of the wrestling that seemed to be taking place at most corners. As for the Ayling pen, it's one of those that some refs will give and some don't. With the ball moving so fast from close range it is very hard to determine intentional movement towards the ball.

  22. I like the scarf waving! Bloody screen played about a ten minute intro, we all stopped, and started again when they eventually came on! Prefered the atmosphere at Coventry to be honest. In the top tier, and all our groups of fans seemed a bit segmented, and also more tense. As an aside, where we were, fans seemed to sit broadly where they wanted, and I only sat down at half tme. All good natured and no trouble from stewards at all.

  23. He also said they were miles away and did n't have a very good view . I reckon it was the ref evening things up after Ayling's hand ball went unpunished. Any how good result .
