  1. To all you gashead posters and lurkers: The day Bristol City are relying on a better result than Accrington Stanley to get promoted from the basement league is the day I hang up my footballing scarf and realise life has dealt me a cruel, cruel hand. Now **** off.

  2. Not sure I agree mate, I didn't hang up my scarf when we pipped Aldershot to the last promotion place from the basement division in 1983/84 - and loads more didn't either. We were right behind Terry and the boys. You obviously weren't around when we were right down there....incidentally, in that same season the gas finished 5th in the division above us. Never forget our history...it's what made us

  3. I'm confused, we were away to derby that day, while Rovers were home to leeds, but it was definitely city fans fighting them despite no club colours shown?

  4. And they think that the whole world loves em and hates the 'teds' - I showed this thread and THAT You Tube video to fans of Bournemouth and Exeter today, they both laughed out loud, called em 'sad f*ckers' (amongst other things) and confirmed what most people think, that the gas are the annoyingly sad little club from Bristol who are just jealous and desperately hankering to be Bristol City. They also noted the irony that sags call us 'the franchise' when they obviously don't know what that means and they derided us in the past for having a rich owner then go berserk when some Chelsea fan buys them.... I just can't wait for it all to come crashing down around them....and that ain't jealousy, just realism. We've got a Bristolian billionaire with our hopes in his hands who genuinely loves our club - they've got a chancer who couldn't afford Chelsea. But it won't stop the blue few hypocrites calling SL the 'tax exile' when their guy's company is registered in Jersey for some strange, tax evading reason.... They'll never get it.....gas logic....I reckon that could make it into the dictionary....gas logic = 'we're always right cos we hate teds' They are like an annoying little nephew at Xmas, you only tend to see them once a year but they remind you instantly why you hated them for the rest of the year.....

  5. Here's a novel thought. The next time that Holloway walks out of the tunnel at AG, let's all give him a welcoming, warm round of applause? Not while there's breath in my body. I suppose it would be appropriate for him to sit in the Dolman though ... we know a song about people who sit in the Dolman, don't we children?

  8. Also like to add the day Bristol City drop down to a semi professional division I will do the exact same.

  9. Or seem to "Pass Go" that often but love to collect their £200 sponsorship raffle tickets. Not adverse to "Going directly to Jail" most match days (horse punching a speciality) But don't worry Wael has them well on the way to "Free Parking" or at least that's what's "planned". Alas the super fans need not panic people! for "Midas" himself has landed in Horfield. Wael has plenty of money, Monopoly money that is. Joke of a club.

  10. Would 'gas logic' extend to using a video of some idiots kicking off to imply city fans are scum and rovers would never do such a thing?

  11. UWE Won't happen, they can't get investment and their Rich owner is only worth 30 million, all the other "Assets" are the banks, Its like us saying we have £5 billion to invest in the club because thats what Hargreves lansdown plc is worth

  12. I can just see their excuses now! "Must have been teds on the judging panel!" "Lansdown paid 'em off!" "We don't enter coz we is the best anyway!" "Our fans were locked out of the stadium so they couldnt see us!" "Im prowed of my club anyway"

  13. I see the 'family club' missed out on the family awards again. Weird that 'the friendliest most popular fans in the whole wide world', continue to miss out. http://www.football-league.co.uk/news/article/2016/the-football-league-family-excellence-award-winners-announced-3096917.aspx Things like this should surely work in their favour....

  14. what a punch of sensitive pussies. Meanwhile on OTIB we have a gashead who has over 1,000 posts, a gashead who was so embarrassed to admit he supported the 2015ers he tried to make out he was a Pompey fan. Even in football forums we're so far advanced.

  15. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristol-Rovers-Ian-Holloway-offers-thoughts/story-29233627-detail/story.html Everything should be buzzing for the play-offs and the town is at the minute. They've got new owners and Darrell Clarke has been superb. He's given me my team back and my pride in the club, and for that I thank him." And some people wanted him here.......

  18. Look matey- I tried, when coming on to this forum to have a sensible piece of interaction- If you put Kodjia in the same bracket as Aguero- fine. But really more than that stuff- why do you put all Rovers fans in the same bracket of us saying we are rich, have more away fans, yours saying we punch horses as if it were a weekly event (your hooligan record is far worse by the way)... that's the kids talking and yes they are embarrassing. I did get a few sensible replies to posts I made before but it's fairly obvious the 'pack mentality' prevails here- and yes, it' does on our forums too, and in most I'd bet. I'll bid you well... and look forward to tomorrow and promotion... SA gas....

  20. Which your club seem to have abjectly failed.

  21. Fair enough if that's the case, every club has its morons and I won't deny that for a second. Was just first time seeing that, and given who each team were playing and where, it looked more like some "gas logic"

  22. Funny that. Didnt they shit on Holloway in the end aswell? Remember them shooting from 1st to 7th in 2000 quite spectuacularly then sacking him the following campaign. Then relegated never to be seen in our league since

  24. It doesn't seem to have occurred to the BP that owning a 31% share in a bank does not mean you own 31% of the assets deposited therein. Basic financial illiteracy.

  25. Having a thread called 'OTIB Watch' sounds just as obsessed as anything they accuse us of, admitting that they ban City fans just for being City fans shows that they are the ones who feel threatened. Poor little Sagheads, running around screaming for the 'banhammer' as soon as a City fans posts on their forum, it's pathetic. 7 pages in 24 hours? I thought they never talk about us? Hypocritical, crybaby pussies.

  26. Well you're not a rival, in a footballing sense, are you? Not for a long time. You'd have to play us for a start. But I will continue to talk about you and continue to laugh at you. At least until your club and your fans are less of an embarrassment. I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy it. Oh dear, I'm obsessed. Simple as that.

  27. Also i went on to slag chat this morning for the first time and theres a thread about OTIB. A city fan got banned on there by one of their child moderators Such a pathetic bunch of supporters he obviously touched a nerve. More proof who the more respectable fans are not that we need anymore proof.

  28. Clunk, Clink, whilst talking shit.

  29. Again, I think you are confusing ALL fans of one club with SOME fans of one club. Some people talk shite- that's just a fact of life- which team they support has nothing to do with it.

  30. I don't think the transfer window was still open mate, it was the same weekend we went to MK and I'm sure you could only bring in loans at that stage. I suppose the obvious answer as to why they signed no one at that time would be that they felt no urgent need to bring in new players to a side that were comfortably winning games....that's just guesswork on my part of course. As I've already said, they will get promoted this season and I suspect that Al Qadi is genuine and will bring them a better future than they were likely to get with the Circus they had running things before....however, how committed he remains to Rovers if they ever start making the kind of losses we have in recent years remains to be seen. I'm glad we've got Lansdown.

  31. Surely this is the best home grown sag anthem.

  32. C'mon mate I know you're a sag and delusion is in your DNA but Kodjia has scored 20 goals in a struggling team in one of the hardest leagues around. Taylors scoring freely in a league above a part time division. Perspective FFS

  42. Shouldn't have expected a reply other than that when using the EP as a reference... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Rovers_F.C.#Kit_suppliers_and_sponsors To be fair me and plenty of others have questioned the decision to ban City fans. I can understand if a City fan has come onto the forum and done nothing but troll, likewise would expect a Rovers fan on here to get the same treatment but to ban just for being a City fan is a bit petty IMO and if it was up to me it wouldn't happen. On another note, congratulations to Oskar on winning the Supporter of the Year. Thoroughly deserved and I'm sure I speak for every Rovers fan in wishing him all the best for the future.

  43. So, what are we going to call them ? They call us 82ers, because according to them, we have been a league club since 1982. Using the same logic, they have been a league club since 2015. Therefore, I propose the 15ers.
