A rugby stadium you say? Could I ask one of you to sign this bit of paper, don't worry about the small print, just some standard sort of legal stuff12 points

tick tock .... tick tock ... tick tock .... yes, the clock is definitely ticking! So, maybe at this point it would be worth pausing and reviewing the progress to date .... ... In the red corner we have .... ... whilst in the blue corner ..... 'nuff said, Wheezy?7 points

You haven't taken the piss though, you've just bumped the thread constantly for no apparent reason. Fair enough if that's what floats your boat but I think most people are probably confused by it tbh. You're still below us, you still play in a ground with a tent for a stand, you still struggle to get 10k at home. You can say "tick tock" as much as you want but that isn't anything different than the same boring shit you lot have been saying every year for the last 15 years anyway. So go on then...give us your best 'piss taking' Saghead...6 points

I can only guess that you didn't include the number locked out as including such a long number would have buggered up the formatting.3 points

Wow. Someone clearly did an amazing job persuading their Jordanian "billionaire" (who somehow doesn't appear in the Forbes rich list, where in contrast SL is named as one of the richest thousand people on the planet) to buy such a tinpot outfit...2 points

http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/7497/city-revamped-stadium-attracts-players?page=2 I'm loving the references to our stadium as being a rugby ground, they are obviously forgetting theirs is a rugby stadium primarily that they stole...2 points

He appears to have bumped it a few times ... therefore think there is an entirely apparent reason, this being that his bumping gives him and some of his fellow Gas friends the chance to continue to get over excited over our 'obsession' with them. I quite like some of the Gas who have joined this thread, and others, as the banter replicates what happens between various family members I have who are red or blue and I really can't take it that seriously in the grand scheme of life - agree that this guy doesn't appear to have understood the art of humour though but let's see what pure gold he delivers next ...2 points

Bricks and mortar don't lie. We have a shiny new stadium fit for the Championship and beyond with first class facilities & with a pitch that is purpose built for both sports and is the envy of many. We have a wealthy, transparent benefactor who is a long standing supporter of Bristol sport. The sags however have "aquired" a run down rugby ground with a turnip patch pitch. They have been sold out to a foreign owner who's come from nowhere with question marks over whether he has the means to not only buy the club but also invest in a new stadium at a huge cost . Oh & it seems there is no plan B for a new stadium. The maths just don't add up, but hey, I won't be thinking of that when I sit in my shiny new seat watching City take on the likes of Villa next season.1 point

Must be a troll. He`s made the classic mistake of saying he works - what are the chances of that? Mind you, I have seen a Big Issue seller up there now and again.1 point

Oh where to start with this comment. I think the detached stand at the goal end is a massive improvement on any one of your stands. It's our poorest stand yet a stand you would dream to have. Maybe when we redevelop it it could be taken apart for you to use? How long has Ashton Gate hosted rugby? What sport was the Memorial Ground built for and hosted for many many years? Enough said. You and your tin pot club are not in a position to take the piss out of us in any way. In every department our club is bigger and better than yours #knowyourplace1 point

Is that it??? The best you can do? What your lot would give for just one stand like that. Must try harder!1 point

Meanwhile, over on the AssShat message board, people are getting very excited at being a feeder club for Chelsea. Nothing confirmed yet, but apparently Wally has a bank, and with Roman having money there is an obvious synergy.... Seriously. Expect them to start the season with 11 full European internationals all at zero expense.1 point

He was a great player for Hull. At 73 he's obviously too old for City, but I'm sure he could still get into the Rovers team.1 point
