Oh I can think of another explanation.. Rather than going to games, their fans prefer to stay at home reading this forum....Even when tickets are free. Eh smallerthanaflea ?? Deary me, what an embarassment.8 points

They laughed at our attendance vs Blackburn at home because of the '2 friends for a tenner each' offer.....well let's see how much their 'free tickets vs Fleetwood' offer bulges the crowd at the Mem. Just for comparison purposes and in the interests of balance, we got 21,452 vs Blackburn, I'm on tenterhooks waiting to see their crowd figure released tonight. After all, they laughed at our 'pathetic' crowd that day, what with the cheap tickets offer and all, so I fully expect them to completely sell out tonight, no excuses for anything other than that....5 points

Scraping past Fleetwood at home infront of a frankly pathetic crowd given all the freebees. Yeah, living the dream there buddy. Stupid tramp.4 points

Game ended about 15 minutes ago and the first thing you do is go on your rivals forum to brag Since you're on here quick question, why didn't you sell out when your club was giving away free tickets?3 points

Spot on....I'd have been seriously worried if we suddenly got a Jordanian Chelsea fan as a new owner who simply moved onto us because Gillingham weren't interested in his advances.... Couldn't believe the hysterical reaction of the sags when it was announced....they truly believed (for a while at least) that they were instantly on a par with clubs like Man City in terms of wealth and they truly believed they were top dogs in Bristol overnight.....how did that work out? New canopy over hospitality entrance vs new £50m stadium?! I am so grateful that we are in the safe, safe hands of the Lansdown family, a Bristolian family determined to give something really tangible back to the South Bristol community. A proper legacy...3 points

Eh? Surely they can't be 0-1 down to Fleetwood in front of a bumper, boosted by free tickets, crowd?! #TickTock #We'reComingForYou Having said all that, they haven't yet had their standard opposition player sent off, dodgy penalty award yet...2 points

In fairness, I any gas that I knew asked me if I wanted a free ticket for tonight, I'd politely decline. Citing the reason that I'd only recently bought a whole bulk load of Cushelle from Makro and wouldn't need the ticket.2 points

Their marketing department really are on fire this season. "'Ere we wants to sell some of these gurt Gnome things. Take a picture for I. Don't worry about gettin the whole product what we is trying to sell in the photo, but make sure you a good clear shot of my half drunked bottle of water. Now give I a second while I gets dressed up all smart like. I wouldn't wants to look like one of they retard sheeds. I really hates they I do's. bloody hates 'em."2 points

Can you just list these positive changes, just so we are all clear..? The factual ones that have some substance, rather than the made up or exaggerated ones, please. The list must me longer than I make it, which is currently.. *A new tent with some seats in, squeezed randomly into one of the spaces around your pitch. *A new canopy over the door to the bar. *changing your ownership to an offshore company. *getting some new feasibility studies done about the move out of Bristol, which there are still no results for. *confirming that he's not even a fraction as wealthy as you were all led to believe at the time of the take over. I'm struggling here now, so please, list what he's done (not talked about doing)2 points

It's interesting that despite gAssholes banging on about (A) Needing a bigger stadium and (B) actually filling it, so few are confident of getting over 10K for a game where they are giving away free tickets.... http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/8460/attendance-predictions-fleetwood-11-161 point

Course u don't give a shit that's why you're on here explaining it . As for wally meh . So free tickets for the sags tonight. Surely be a sellout I take it . Out of interest how many times the mem been sold out. If u don't sell out tonight. Maybe a 12000 all seater out of Bristol will suffice1 point

'Tin-pottery', what a lovely definition of our blue friends. Displaying the qualities of hilarious inadequacy and eternal inferiority. Crapness. See also: Bristol Rovers. Tin-pottery. I like that a lot. Almost feel a bit sorry for them.1 point

I suspect you are not alone in feeling this way. What I would say though, if things improve on the pitch in the next few years and you do have the opportunity to go for free, just give it another try. My introduction to football was during the Osman years - I could of easily not gone again back then.1 point

I call it Egg chasing because it's very apt, not because I think it's clever.1 point

When I was accepted for a job at my last company in China, it came up in the interview that I was from Bristol and a football fan.. The guy mentioned that there was also a guy from Bristol in the office who supported a team but couldnt remember which one. Thus there was a nervous wait to see who he was... Fortunately he turned out to be a red. Could you imagine being stuck in an office thousands of kilometers from home with a saghead?1 point
