  1. Yes; how are things going with the " Not Yetihad " ?

  2. At least our owner isn't scared to spend his money on us. Doesn't always get it right but puts his money where his mouth is. The fact you suggest your fans will only turn up in large numbers if they've got a nice comfy seat to sit in tells me what we already know...that your fanbase is just as 'plastic' as you lot always accuse others of being. As for the rest of your turd about our attendances, it's worth remembering that you're posting this on OTIB, not Gaschat. You'll find on here that people will easily produce facts to prove you wrong...not lap up a load of lies like deluded ******* morons.

  3. Might be a bit relevant that for one of those seasons in L1 we only had 3 stands. And Bristol Sport didn't even provide us with a replacement tent. And that "average" for the last 7 seasons appears to be made up. For the last 7 seasons, we've not had a seasonal average below 11,929 so 11.5k is impossible.

  4. I think it would be nice, hero or no hero, for Rovers fans to know that their manager is, deep down, a City fan.

  6. They can't stop lying about that, their entire sense of self worth is based on imagining they may potentiallty one far off day get bigger crowds than us, There's always some reason why they aren't, be that because there is a nearby bike race, they've played twice at home in a week, it's too close to Christmas etc, etc. I love how they keep saying now that their attendences are crap because their ground is so shit, maybe you should steal a better one next time eh Gas tramps? And just when you think you've heard it all, they are 'bigger than Norwich' and the 'fastest growing side outside the premership'. I'm almost embarrassed for some of their more sensible fans. Almost. The fact of the matter is they can't fill their dirty little hovel because all of the legions of fans who are just about to start flocking to watch them any minute now are, for the most part, a figment of their imagination.

  7. Difficulty there is the amount of 'last games' the Bristol Nomads have had. Last game at Eastville Last game at Aston Gate (following the Eastville fire) Last game in Bath Last game at the Mem before the moved to Cheltenham for the season Last game/first game at Cheltenham that didn't happen as the penny started to drop that there was going to be no redevelopment Could take some time.

  8. Here at the stats, 1983 the last time Rovers had a higher average attendance I think, 24 years, then before that 1965 I think

  9. That post totally contradicts yourself! Also, you are aware that for the previous 2 years, we had a largely reduced capacity because of the rebuild. Then you go on to compare our L1 attendances and say that in the Championship you'd equal our crowds. I find it hard to believe that even in the Championship, in a new ground, you'd get anywhere near our average gate this season, despite it being record breakingly bad for us. Always in our shadow, but I suppose that if you don't have a dream (getting anywhere close to us), how are you going to have a dream come true..?!

  10. Keep nibbling , you know you're my bitch as proven on more than 1 occasion. You usually get pissy and chuck your toys out of your pram . Point 1 ..national newspaper with professional journalists or website ran by fans of subbuteo. Point 2. By your logic Burton are the best supported team in the world, they sell out every week. Pop your tampon back in poppet and run along .

  11. Where are you getting that from??? Or is it the usual gAsshole way, pluck a figure out of thin air and say it often enough that your 6 fingered mates will believe it.

  12. Clifton St Vincent Reserves got a man and dog come and watch them play on the Downs every week. A venue that has zero capacity. If you divide one (we'll forget the unfortunate dog) by zero you get infinity. Ergo by your own logic Clifton St Vincent Reserves had an infinitely bigger support than Bristol Rovers.

  13. You are 3rd in the league behind the mighty AFC Wimbledon and Northampton, don't quite see how that is an achievement....

  14. With that reasoning Villa would be one of the worst supportd teams in the championship behind Burton and Brentford

  15. United in their delusional hatred for the West county's biggest (by a long way) club and probably the second biggest as well but what have Plymouth done to them? Argyle are bigger than both of them.

  16. I think the away fans should be singing... "Your ground's perfectly adequate for you , Your ground's ........"

  17. Here's an idea , get your parasitic club to buy one instead of bleating on about how unfair the whole world is

  18. Rovers version = we've averaged 11.5k over the last 7 seasons. Truth = We've averaged 13,668* over the last 7 seasons. *Not including this seasons much higher figures (didn't need too to make this clown look a bit of a plonker. ALSO note that we operated at a hugely reduced capacity, with only 3 sides to our ground for 2 of those 7 seasons and one was a relegation season.

  19. ******* belter. We only had half a stadium and were regularly selling out so more lies from the pathological liars . It a myth about your fan base complete myth. You wouldn't get crowds like ours and apart from a couple of years in the 1950's you never have done. STOP LYING

  20. 1. The home stands were sold out (look it up) for pretty much every game during our last season in L1 and would have sold more if we had the capacity at the time I should think. Even 11,500 is 50% higher than your getting after 3 good seasons regardless. Making the point that you fill your little ground better than other clubs fill their bigger ones is irrelevant, your crowds are just about 8K and you have no excuse as you have the capacity for more. Maybe your ground is the right size? 2. We haven't mentioned our crowds. 3. If, if, if, if. You can't fill your little ground, simples. We can't fill our big one either. As for matching our attendances? Historically, we've always been better supported so there's another delusional sag comment totally negated.

  22. So your ground is small yet you still can't fill it? Mahoosive, absolutely mahoosive! Point well made by SMAF TBH, better than I could have done, their support is great because they have a crap ground. If we liken this to the Championship, I would guess we should be cheering Burton from the rafters for their attendances.

  23. My birthday! I'll accept that as a present! Thanks very much!

  24. Surely this just means you have a tiny ground. Not exactly something to boast about.

  25. 3rd highest attendance as a percentage of capacity in the division? That's a very creative way of trying to make yourselves sound more impressive and yet even with such a selective criteria you still only manage 3rd. Why not say you have the highest attendance of any club in League One that begins with "Bristol"?
    2 points
  26. Hardly much to shout about when your "capacity" consists of five plastic chairs and a beanbag. How many games have you sold out this season? Its zero isn't it?

  27. The Methane has a capacity of 12300, yet they average under 10 .? Am I missing your point .?

  29. I am well excited for it, 2 top level fighters meeting in their prime with a healthy dislike of each other! The question is how much it'll take out of Kell to boil back down to 147. His team will hope they've got Spence before he is good enough to dominate the division, as many people expect him to.

  32. But but but if rovers were in the champions league and had Messi playing for them in the nou camp they'd definitely average more than they gurt teds....
    1 point
  33. So the last time Roverzzzz averaged over 10K was 1976. That was that record breaking summer, hottest summer on record I believe. Did all the gAssholes go to the beach and get swept out to sea? Are they all running quaint 'Ye Olde Tea Shoppes' in the seaside towns of Great Britain? Could the heat have been caused by an alien invasion looking for a species of 6 fingered, high foreheaded mutants to continue the existence of their race. We'll probably never know. The truth is out there.

  34. Beat me to it! Average of 13,668 since 2010. Funny how he chose the arbitrary 7 years... it's not like including the preceding two years bumps the average up to 14,308

  45. What's that got to do with it . You lot constantly bang on about your amazing support . Facts are you've had back to back promotions , on the edge of the play offs and still only get 8000 odd at home. By your deluded logic you should be selling out every game . Deluded ****** belters the lot of you.

  46. Worth the blue few remembering that the only reason Dopey is still in a job was because Higgs couldn't afford to sack him following relegation. He was still busy paying off previous managers. What was his non-committal line, 'he has a contract for next season'. Hardly the vote of confidence. Seem to recall most of them wanted shot of him at the time as well.
