  1. I've heard PNE are in for Bodin.

  2. My Rovers mate (word used loosely as he’s a right weapon) is adamant they’re signing O’Dowda from us because he hasn’t been playing. I’ve told him he’s injured which makes me a jealous Ted. I’m so glad I don’t support them as it infuriates me when people turn up to footy and don’t have a clue. Not one of the blue few understand football, from the basics to the business side. This does add to my amusement though

  3. This is probably best explained by 1960's opening sentence.... 'Would be interesting to see the comparisons between us , since '82'

  4. Un-bloody-believable. It would be hilariously funny though! 'I think that SL has had a whisper in few UWE Governors ears, and i would be willing to put my neck out and say the egg chasers will play at UWE. The guy is a w4nker, ever since it was revealed that he had been giving financial advice, the days of us working with UWE were numbered.'

  5. It's being held in the car park where a few thousand are already patiently waiting to be locked out of the next home game.

  6. I hope to reply in a day or so, 'in BIG BOLD TEXT', that @1960maaan's post was factually correct, albeit premature (due to his premonition). Then again, I might just not reply....

  7. What could be more fun that sat on your own in your car, watching Home Alone while listening to they gurt 'teds beating Manchester on Radio Bristol

  8. I had taken it as a deliberate error, joking overconfidence that we will win.

  9. Should be reported . They really are a embarrassment to Bristol

  10. Very downbeat about his own club though. Felt let down by the owners and club going nowhere. I did that very condescending kind of sympathy thing whilst sliding subtle digs in that he didn’t notice .

  12. Remember to do your bidding in the new football currency of the 'Tilson', an alternative to the 'bitcoin' but nowhere near as valuable!

  13. Dont worry, all will be OK when they have a shiny new ground, training ground and academy..................Sometime during the 22nd century I heard that Wally is considering using the Mem to breed camels for now (sorry, train).

  14. That's good as, even though he's crap (according to their fan because they lost on Saturday), he's their best / only player! Slip, slidin' away.

  17. He’s only got 6 months left on his deal so I’d have thought 300k is a maximum. We’re also in for Lewis Morgan at St. Mirren, but they are demanding a loan back so I was told it’s led us to being seriously interested in Bodin.

  18. Using the money we pay you for Hugill!!! That will upset the Horse Punchers. Messing their season up yet again. Bet that scenario wasn’t covered in our Gentleman’s Agreement we have with them after nicking Taylor off them last season!!

  19. Maybe Hugill will pass him on the way down.........

  21. For clarity, when I said: 'I think we have all grasped the point now, and perhaps the entire post itself could now be deleted' I was referrring to @Vincent Vega's post and not yours .

  25. Hang on, they have better away support than us....they say it constantly. Those tables have them nearly 600 fans behind us on average. Blackburn, Bradford and Pompey manage very respectful figures at the same grounds the Gas visit so what's Rovers excuse? Maybe it's just that their away support is **** all special...Oh yeah, that'll be it. He won't be. They've got real issues amongst their fan base. Then you read utter garbage like the stuff written by that tit on the Cardiff Forum claiming Gasheads are the salt of the Earth, they're far from it. Bristolians know better and traditionally more people from this City choose red over blue, tells you everything you need to know.

  27. I have to take exception to this. It was better in the 1970's when it had two open ends. The "improvements" with the seating and the two tiers at the away end are nothing short of shocking in the modern era. You can't see the ball if its crossed high in the bottom tier plus the restricted views at either corner flag. I have witnessed how rammed the narrow concourse gets in the top tier so heaven forbid if there was an emergency. With so many "restricted" views in the top tier its a wonder how any away fan can see the whole match clearly given how cramped the room is between each row of seats is anyway. Its a very 1980's way of treating fans. As far as comfort is concerned it reminds me of the delightful Kenilworth Road. With more modern stadia available I think fans are quite rightly critical now of the "facilities" on offer. Long gone are the days when you could be served hot food from a garden shed and rightly so.

  30. Another Day, another load of mindless Gas cretins needing the facts pointed out to them. They just hate facts! Since most of their fans prefer pictures over text this comes in handy picture/infographic form. As it says this doesn't include the rubbish listed on the wikipedia pages (admittedly for both clubs) like Watney cup, Div 3 South Cup, Playoff matches and semi-finals etc. I should also add there are just four tiers to English Professional League Football - Not five as some of the blue few tried to claim when they were in the vanarama non league

  31. Ask any gashead which he would prefer, playing in League 1 while we play in the Prem, or being in League 2 with us down there with them, and they will choose the later every time. They pray for our failure more than their own success, sad bar stewards

  32. All about opinions Rich and I respect yours. Personally, I don't think there are many worse than LR. It's uncomfortable, the view is poor from the top tier and it needs updating. That's just my opinion but I understand the 'tightness' point. In comparison to many grounds in the Championship I just think it's one of the poorer stadiums nowadays.
