Rovers fans taking up their usual position...in the shadows, sneering at their bigger, better neighbours. Never reached a major cup semi final themselves, I’ve a feeling they’ll enjoy tonight but we’ve done ourselves proud. Nearly 8k City fans there tonight and another full house back at AG for the 2nd leg no matter what the score. Superb support again and fantastic stuff from our club, staff and players. My kids will remember being part of the crowd for that Man Utd victory forever, their kids will remember watching it on telly and Daddy throwing a wobbly when Smith scored the winner in the 93rd minute. Thank God I’m red.

Wael has spoken of having had similar experiences with his Dad at Chelsea. But your words are said with a much deeper sincerity.

Well when they beat Manchester United. Then only lose 2-1 to probably the best side in Europe. I might take them serious. Until then they are ******* irrelevant

Just think of the money we will be earning even if they get 10 past us - and all because of THAT pass by Matty Taylor in injury time.... It is THEIR biggest game of the last 20 years which sums them up really. We have gained many fans/plaudits on our journey this season in the League and the Cup run. Regardless of what happens from now until the end of the season, our future looks very bright, yet they don't even look like they might even have one!! You can imagine them on Tuesday tuning in and seeing nearly 8000 Teds away at the Etihad and absolutely seething with rage and jealousy. Just think that will be nearly the same amount as their home gates! Bless them...

Father plays with Police Horse reminding his son that you are never to old to have fun. Manager terrifies crowd after intentionally crushing the ribs of match ball boy.
