Mentioned it before but David Silvas premature born son 8s fighting for his life Jake Livermore’s incident the other day made me think that we should show some class and acknowledge Silvas very difficult time Whether he’s present or not what about a sustained applause (Doesn’t need to be a minute ) in the 21st Minute (Silvas Squad No) An accompanying , short ‘David Silva’ chant would send the message Appreciate those who come on here are only a small slice of our support but worth giving it a go ? @Harry Don’t know what you think - whether the Sec 82 lads n lasses could help -?

"All they're doing is just sitting there like statues in a library" That was from my wife who has very little interest in football. That being said she did say she doesn't know how I cope with the nerves as hers were shot to pieces They were dreadful. The 8000 reds that made the trip though - fantastic. Sounded great, hats off to you all.

Besides the performance which was amazing I thought he came across very well in the post match interview. I liked the fact while he acknowledged we had lost the game we are very much in the tie and would continue to play positive football. There is no doubt what he has achieved this season is quite special to get a young team to play so positively week in and week out. I’ll be honest last season I would happily seen him leave, but you’ve got to admire Lansdown for sticking with Lee and Lee’s desire to keep going and turn it around. I thought mid table would be a good season, I’m in dreamland currently. Lets hope tonight’s experience is another postive step and we get promotion.

Should be with 4 sets of goals on the pitch - no wonder Man City score so many.

I don't think Mourinho underestimated us at all actually OP. That would be disingenuous to him and smack of sloppiness.. He is no sloppy manager. And because he didn't it makes the win against them all the more remarkable. We won it because we were the better team. Man City have shown they are a completely different animal this season. I hope we limit their goals to 2 today. It might give us a sniff of a chance at the Gate. That said, they do have off days like all of us and the ball is round so anything can theoretically happen. Our large support will make a difference.

No matter how efficient you make public transport, when you have people willing to risk life and limb to steal cables carrying 650v and also risk others lives by stealing signalling cable, you are fighting a losing battle.

That's right. This season alone basically the whole first team have grown in value. Partly the benefit of having a squad almost all in the 20s with sell on value but also credit to the coaching. It's great to see fans being more patient now with the likes of Eliasson after seeing the second year versions of O'Dowda and Brownhill. We are no longer Bristol City who signs Damion Stewarts and Neil Kilkennys for quick fixes. We sign players to invest in and improve. Exciting times and 100% the right strategy for recruitment.

Hinchcliffe commentating seemed very reluctant to give us any praise.

Are you joking? We have been getting constant praise in the press- articles almost daily on us all very complimentary. There are a few rogues - mainly the idiots like lawrenson, Charlie Nicholas, but then think about the articles crouch and Murray wrote, and the feature this weekend. Sky post match talked about nothing but how good we were.

I think a lot of Premier League teams could learn from that first half performance. I hope you keep it up in the second half.

The BBC reporter followed up the comment from the Man City fan with: Don't call them Bristol, Mark.

From the BBC site: As a Man City fan I have to say, Bristol’s support is LOUD and they’re giving a great account of themselves on the pitch, thus far. Kudos!

Just leave the poor bloke alone to deal with his game. I sometimes think these efforts at ‘support’ are more about those hoping to provide it rather than those receiving it. In a lot of cases ‘normality’ is what people want. Imagine you’re in that situation, would you really want your entire office/warehouse/factory clapping you as you went to work? Must just be me but the entire thing smacks of look at us aren’t we great? Rather than any real understanding of what the guy’s going through.

Make no mistake it was Frankie that cost us the game v Wolves.

If anything, microphone placement would've been favourable to Man City. Sky would've wanted 'Blue Moon' to come across as very loud. I've watched many games on TV and live and can safely say we did very very well tonight as away support.

And so they should. Their aim is to get into the Premier League, they have given themselves a great start and a good chance of getting their with half the season to go. Why should they jeopardise it now. Go big now and get the players that will see them through and it gives them a head start for next season in the top flight.

He's been my favourite Premier League player pretty much since he arrived. So intelligent and stylish and comes across as one of the good guys. Saying he is the best you have ever had is quite something for those of us who remember Colin Bell.
