  1. Lets face it for them that's another ground breaking season, just out of non league, tent for stands, pants owners, fans who never bother to show up for games.. I could go on.. Just 29 points behind the European might of Shrewsbury Town, lodged between footballing giants of Scunthorpe and Blackpool, another fantastic season for the glorified caravan club..

  2. So what was our capacity that season? Lets not pretend that the redevelopment works weren’t happening. Did you visit Ashton Gate that season? If you did, surely you noticed how many times we had sold the full allocation of home tickets? The following season we had, statistically, the most full stadium on average in the league despite spending over half the season in the bottom 3. Rovers had a decent season (flirting with the Play Offs at one point) with a manager, owners and players they say they’re happy with and they’ve failed to get over 9k home fans in all but 3 games. For a club whose fans claim to be something special whilst constantly slagging off our support that’s pathetic.

  4. We've only had 2 seasons in L1 in the last 12 years. 13/14 we averaged 11900 despite spending most of the season in or around the bottom 4 scraping draws at home with teams like Shrewsbury, Colchester and Leyton Orient. Do you remember that season? 14/15 AG was undergoing major redevelopment work that limited the capacity. We averaged 12000 in a season which saw many games sold out to home fans. I know it doesn't fit your 'script' but Rovers have failed to average over 10k for the last 4 decades. Our crowds may not be great at times but they're always better than the Gas, no matter what they or you think.

  5. Another tent . There marquee signing for the summer. That ought to keep the zoomers happy

  6. Bodin's done okay for us so far, but sense he will be very good next season with a bit more adjustment to the division and a pre-season at Championship level.

  7. Haha, love it. I was looking forward to some warm pre fight appreciation for the Bomber from you mate! You're right about Haye's training footage, there's absolutely nothing of him throwing proper punches at bags or people.

  8. I think this merger has come about as a result of their loyal and true fans` boycott of Sainsbury`s. Obviously it`s had a huge impact on their turnover and they are now being forced to seek financial support elsewhere. It`s either merge with Asda or go bust I reckon. Apparently they first noticed that something was up when sales of White Lightning and spaghetti hoops plummeted.

  9. Just a thought. If Asda and Sainsbury's merge does this give Gashead more shopping options or less?

  10. It's shite tbh. Joe Joyce against Lenroy Thomas, Paul Butler in a title fight v nobody you've ever heard of and Buatsi v someone are the 'highlights'. Safe to say I'll be stealing this one from the internet haha. I can scarcely believe- scarcely believe I tell you- that Wilder's offer turned out to be a crock of shit. They even cancelled the Friday meeting about the fight claiming it would be 'unproductive' to discuss it until after Joshua and Matchroom signed the thus far unseen and presumably entirely nonexistent contract. ******* jokers.

  11. I didn’t compare him to Terry Cooper....although I’m not sure you meant that?! In my opinion Terry Cooper will always be one of the biggest legends in Bristol City’s history - not for his 11 appearances for us in the top tier, but for his incredible stint as manager...he kept us going in incredibly challenging times....and his achievements will always mean so much to me, as will that 4th division team....I loved ‘em all...
